This is mentioned in the description. Desura has some media loading issues currently. Use the direct download link from 16bitarena.com (it's fine if you already installed it from Desura) to fix it

Note to everyone: This game will be free on 5/16-5/31 (only)!

As the seller, since this game has gone on sale this week without much PR yet (meaning not many people purchased yet, especially from Desura, since I can see how many copies each store sells) I've spoken with each person who's bought it, since they connect to the server after and we meet them. None of those who rated below 5 have purchased this game. Some of those ratings were even made during the pre-order. Could make the suggestion to Desura that people actually be required to purchase the game before rating, but we're not concerned with it.
Carnival73, we look forward to seeing you there! By then we expect a lot more people, as it'll go on sale quite visibly on GreenManGaming next week and we'll have press releases out.
