Greetings, long time no see.
Sorry I couldn't do it sooner, but I updated the Russian translation sheet. Glad to see that this mod still lives!

"The thunderstorm begins..." oops, wrong Helix.

The design looks interesting; the idea to make a helix nose seems to be *shades* twisted. (In a good way)

Hmm, might it be armed with Loa Tactical Missiles rather than bombs? IIRC those planes can carry and launch cruise missiles. This might either apply for all four factons or be an unique feature for this one.

Speaking of this one. It reminds of a Necron Doom Scythe and overall looks friggin awesome. Can't wait to see the rest.

Also, "Sanguine Tyrant" sounds just as awesome.

Okay, I've been looking forward to this release and I'm not disappointed. While R&D mod doesn't entirely works with vanila AI (I don't have Sorian AI), it's no big deal (albeit I'd like to see how Waffentrager Auf Abyss Crawler aka Retributor would fare).
Extra brownie point for using a Salem Class Destroyer as a base for a T3 Cybran Engineering Ship.
Also, the Cybran T3 Mobile SMD is on a miniaturized Scathis Mark I chassis, nice idea :)

So far I've noticed a couple of bugs in localization:
-Cybran wind turbines have the same name as UEF ones.
-Arthrolab's tooltip ("Experimental Land Factory") remains unlocalized.

Aside from that... It's a wonderful work you've done, with interesting concepts (lattice or projector shield, restoration engineer, to name a few) and beautiful models (such as Abyss Crawler or Arthrolab, and OMG I've just seen the Arthrolab animation of building a Megalith). Thanks a lot for this mod (and submods).

The base looks a bit like the base of a Psi-Beacon from Red Alert 2. Or maybe I'm forgetting something.

I also have no idea what "Qain" is supposed to mean.

Just for the reference: in BrewLAN Scathis has been replaced with its stationary iteration Scathis MkII.

Perturabo would be proud.

I've offered my name options in comments to the previous pic, but Retributor also sounds nice. Probably could even be named Abyssal Retributor to reflect its chassis origins.

Well, my original idea was to use Disruptor as a direct-fire weapon (befitting an Experimental Siege Tank), but that's awesome too.

Will it keep battleship turrets or that'd be too cheesy?

Nemesis sounds a bit Aeon-ish, but it'd be a good name.

I probably need more time to think it over but I'd call it either "Dostya's Revenge" or "ID-2".

The latter is because i've been playing too much WoT. Speaking of which; I just had an idea to put a Disruptor cannon repurposed for direct fire (and thus with much shorter range) onto this thing.

Alternatively, "Abyssal Fortress" or "Fortress Crawler".

What about secondary weapons?

Aww, I was looking forward for the Abyssal Persecutor!

Still I wonder what would happen if one would load it with Hunters and send it into the enemy ranks... does the rule "T1 Light assault Bots can fire from transports" apply here?

EDIT: Scratch that. This thing loaded with Fire Beetles sent into an unsuspecting base. That's all.

Sparks my interest. The Chain Lightning effect would be positively amazing, hopefully you'll be able to wire it up. The current mechanic of charge-depending damage also has potential.

I could have added electricity puns with higher frequency though, but I think that's beyond my capacity.

I have to agree about "Sniper's War" and "Leningrad", and feel that I should add my 2 cents, as I have recently completed those missions on Veteran. (Or was it hardened? I just remember than I spend a couple of hours on "Sniper's War").
I agree, lack of friendly respawns in "Sniper's War" appears to be an issue. Sure, I did it by smoke-rushing the hole enemies spawned from and fragged everyone from there... on a 100500th try.
A minor issue might be lack of ammo refill. I suggest placing a scoped Mosin-Nagant near Major Zubov. Not really necessary, but would be nice.
As for Leningrad... also lack of reinforcements (causing lack of ammo), and not much cover. I might also suggest leaving some spare smoke grenades, 'cos smokes were a lifesaver back then. I usually neglect them, but they are lovely when charching through the open field into a machine gun fire.

But overall, my experience with this mod is so far positive, so I'd like to thank the mod team for their nice work.

You also forgot Ampere, Roentgen, Maxwell, Boltzmann, Planck, Goddard, Tsiolkovsky, Becquerel, Curie, Bohr, Rutherford...
Nevermind, the list can go on and on, especially once I dig out my old copybooks.

As for Seraphim stuff, we'd just need to make up a Seraphim root for "research" and go with usual Seraphim convention of *-istle for T1, * for T2 and *-thuum for T3.

Aww, I remember using it in Forged Alliance Mission 4 (since I found a way to run BrewLAN in campaign, and usually capture a Seraphim engineer in that mission)... Next time I'm gonna keep one of UEF factories' wrecks :D

Sweet idea!

"Monolith" could be a good name for this turret. Reflects this thing's origins, its looks and could be a reference to Space Oddysey/Warhammer 40k/S.T.A.L.K.E.R., if you squint.

I'm sure I have seen an UEF Disruptor as well, I think it was in Black Ops Unleashed extra unit pack.
Alternatively, Harkonnen Devaststor from EBFD could also fit UEF. "Reference level high, but not toxic".

In my opinion enlarged classic Mammoth Tank would make sense as UEF's Land Assault experimental; with UEF acknowledging the need of a cheaper experimental (*cough*Monkey Lord*cough*), and the best idea UEF would have would be a plain giant tank, with two giant Gauss cannons and Flayer SAMs (Secondary guns too, smaller Gauss cannons/riot guns/ plasma cannons).

That's just my thoughts, and you seem to already have your own plans for UEF Land Assault experimental (seeing as there's something called "Deus Vult" on the BrewLAN unit spreadsheet).

Also, UEF T2 Pillar heavy tanks were already pretty Mammoth-like; and fully upgraded Cybran Hive looks like an Obelisk of Light.

Did you use MTPs, Arena systems and Early Warning outposts?
Edit, oh, right, looks like USA AI is heavier on the air in 1.87, I'll keep that in mind.

Easiest medium AI? Methinks USA, they don't use artillery. Just watch out for air, but heavy AA can cover that.
Oh, and keep a pair of superweapons to keep them from getting their own.
Easiest factions to play might be RF and ECA (due to defenses). You can also set a 2v2 with an ally AI to back you up a bit. My first decent fights were 2v2v2v2 on Hostile Horizon, due to the ships.

P.S. I'm speaking of my experiences with the 1.86 version (the last released one), so IDK what might have changed in the "public" beta.
