I am known as Ajay_[RUS] (and many other chars) in Freelancer Crossfire and as Ajay on SWAT Portal. The reason I selected such an username here? I don't give a f..., that's why. Avatar made mostly by myself, Coalition symbol taken from Starlancer manual.

I tend to agree when it's about medium AI. Possibly the planes have much better (but much trickier) use, but so far, when the planes are doing well choppers do better (e.g. fighting other choppers or GP planes what pack of Hinds will pull out while also giving hell to infantry without need of resupply or more airfields, though it will probably be pricier to have a huge pack of Hinds) and when the choppers get down (e.g. when Raptors show up) the planes are just marginally less flakked.

I do not have PvP experience though, so maybe planes are more useful there (as I see they do have potential for hit-and-run attacks or AA), and I expect this comment to be downvoted to hell and back.

Reminds me of containers from Tiberian Sun...
Let me guess, random containers like from there? (You know, in TS you could opt in skirmish for these randomly appearing on the map and containing random goodies or nasties)

For some reason I experience less lags (noticeable, yet tolerable) with 2v2v2v2 on Hostile Horizon (unofficial naval map, was included with 1.7) than with 2v2 on Coastal Conflict (becomes unplayable from time to time).

Any superweapon goes down to two superweapon strikes or three-four RF tac-ICBMs. IIRC Solaris has shorter cooldown time. So put on two of your own superweapons ASAP as a deterrent.

Put starting money on max, AI cheats anyway. For the same reason don't waste your GP on Blackout Node if playing as RF since it doesn't effect AIs too.

Well, I meant building an immobile unit that then turns into a mobile unit, but that's your decision, I just thought I could be helpful.

...wait, "that's going in now" means you consider actually adding that to Megalith? Hmm, could be fun :)

Also, I've got an idea for a unit for Cybran, a building that can be built by T3 engineer on land. When completed, it turns into a Salem-class a-la Megalith's crab eggs, allowing to build them on land-only maps (i.e. without a shipyard).

Not demanding it, just a (possibly crazy) idea, and I don't know how it will affect the balance.

EDIT: Cybran T2 Armored Wall Section and UEF T3 shield generator appear to have the same prob as Little Bertha. (you may have already fixed them along with that one though)

Also I've noticed that I missed a few names. I've fixed them and refreshed the file.

There is an unofficial mappack that restores naval maps, though the navy was cut out for a reason, you've been warned.

Though I've played several games with Medium AI on my favorite map Hostile Horizon, and it works fine so far.
