Description
What is wrong with bringing a bit of BF3 to BF2? :D
This is not going into Alpha Project. I just made it for personal use. I might release it in the future though ^^
I also want to thank InsanityPays for helping me on this one :)
This looks so good! Ans what about the urban camo you were talking about for MEC in Alpha Project?
I'm actually sort of finished with the urban one, but I'm not too happy with the camo it uses, also, I want them to resemble the ones from the alpha shots like on the pic below, but it just doesn't look right when mine was finished. They have to have the short sleeves and the head semagh thing for it to look nice. So I guess I will have to get hold of a custom model first :(

Hmmm. I think that looks way too much like a private security company or a mercenary group with the short sleeves and the kheffiyeh/semagh thingy, and doesnt resemble a proffesional army. But I know Alpha Project's goal is to bring what was excluded out of BF2, so I guess it will be better if you make it like that :)
Yeah, if they were the insurgent faction from special forces, then it would've made a lot more sense I believe. I actually love the way they look though; I think they could be some sort of secret task force supposed to blend better in with civilians or something. Anyway, as much as Jones and I want them in the mod, to get them is a bit impossible, because making soldier models, or even editing them is next to impossible 'cause it's very very difficult and there are only a handful of people in the BF2 community that can rig soldiers, of which most of them are long gone and retired from the moddingscene :(

That's nice! I can't really spot a big difference between the one you gave me and the one on the pic though, but I know that when you make camo's, then they are usually very realistic and high in resolution :)
Can't wait to see it!
