I kinda like the current one better. I like his proportions. Maybe the face is a tad too numb but the proportions are neat and fits the world very well.

Agree, flames need work. Instead of going for the regular (as in the videogame flamthrowers I've seen) linear flamethrower spritetoss, something like the dynamic flamethrowing from for example wolfenstein would look cool

Well... They look too smooth know what I mean? They look more like half star wars half portal designs or something else futuristic. The thing about the star wars universe that attracts me is that everything doesn't have futuristic designs (except for some of the stuff in the prequels... ugh). Imo it needs more of an edgy look.
If #5 wasn't smooth and had those lines and circles I'd go with that, but the closest right now to something I like is probably #3

This is the worst mod I've played. Fine, they did an effort and I applaud that, but it's just like they haven't been thinking at all when they made this, where's the friggin originality!? The awesome gameplay mechanics!? The great mapping!?
The mod lacks all of these things and even more.

I agree that the head bobbing could be a bit more subtle and that it could have another movement sound (something faster and maybe more intense. But the mapping, I mean, it's initial designs these. Nowhere near done (as far as I believe).
Also, question: is it hard to mod? (thinking mainly about getting new models into it and the like) Because I'd like to try :D

So the engine doesn't support normals? In that case you can still put a lot of work in textures to make it look better. Still, I suggest you find another engine.

Framerate? Does that ring a bell? If you want a reasonable framerate then I suggest you redo that with a lower poly count and start learning to use normals instead. High poly models slow games down a lot, and not just because of rendering but also because of the increased physics calculation (assuming there will be) it will cause.
The thing is, you have no need whatsoever of needing a model with a polycount like that, which may or may not cause problems.
You can use that, however, if the use of normal and bumpmaps are supported in the engine you're utilizing.
