This is the worst mod I've played. Fine, they did an effort and I applaud that, but it's just like they haven't been thinking at all when they made this, where's the friggin originality!? The awesome gameplay mechanics!? The great mapping!?
The mod lacks all of these things and even more.
It's sad, but it does.
And you're absolutely right.
Man I can't wait for this either, Yamato is definitely also my favorite ship of all time.
I'm not sure they can. Didn't steve say ""intermediate layers between the platform and the developer ultimately produces sub-standard apps."?
It basically means a no-go to third party development tools for iphone apps because the product will become "sub-standard".
I hope he changes his mind though. (Maybe one day I can convince my brother to program a porco rosso game for ipwn ^^.)
I think they'd have to buy a license in order to sell it.
And to be truthful, I don't see the interesting game mechanics in this :/
I'm gonna give it a try again but I doubt it'll hold as a commercial game.
Incredible, keep it up!
If this is what Minas Morgul looks like then damn I can't wait to see the mines of Moria or the halls of the Lonely Mountain!
Will they be able to speak?
I agree that the head bobbing could be a bit more subtle and that it could have another movement sound (something faster and maybe more intense. But the mapping, I mean, it's initial designs these. Nowhere near done (as far as I believe).
Also, question: is it hard to mod? (thinking mainly about getting new models into it and the like) Because I'd like to try :D
Caproni is the shizzle! And so is this, man this is awesome.
me neither, played it for a while in the early stages. It lacks some interesting combat mechanics, and teamwork.
lol, it should be both of them xD daddy and son haha
because of the bobbles right?
a guards daily cycle? Wake up, eat, stand, eat, stand, go to bed.
not on iphone it doesn't. Not since apple decided you couldn't use any third party tools to make apps (with one exception).
Looks a hell lot better than what I had been expecting.
this has always been my favourite, the firefights were awesome.
!!!!!\(T-T)/ thank god!
I was there when it fell asleep and I couldn't stand it, it was so awesome and now it's back! F yeaH!
you speak very nasally xD
anyways, looking cool as always
I pity you... That is all, I shall stop trying to help you (in a relatively harsh manner) anymore. You'd probably call this harassment instead but that's up to you.
So the engine doesn't support normals? In that case you can still put a lot of work in textures to make it look better. Still, I suggest you find another engine.
indeed you are.
Framerate? Does that ring a bell? If you want a reasonable framerate then I suggest you redo that with a lower poly count and start learning to use normals instead. High poly models slow games down a lot, and not just because of rendering but also because of the increased physics calculation (assuming there will be) it will cause.
The thing is, you have no need whatsoever of needing a model with a polycount like that, which may or may not cause problems.
You can use that, however, if the use of normal and bumpmaps are supported in the engine you're utilizing.
Well, wtf do I know really. I'm just a modeler, texture artist and concept artist too :(
Oooops yeah, you caught me off guard. Still, it's not a huge problem, English is my second language and I'm fine with an occasional miss-spell.
That's so ******* awesome!
then why the **** didn't you use those!? That's ******* stupid, you just ridiculed yourself again. WTF IS WRONG WITH THIS GUY!?
