No problem ;)
That is a kind of tricky question.
Which aspect of modding do you wish to learn?
Coding, Modelling, Mapping, Scripting?
I will be more than happy to assist you in the Coding aspects of modding if you're interested.
There is also a very large list of tutorials if you're more of a "do-it-yourself" type of worker.
Thanks, guys :)
You know, I've seen this mod grow from a very small sub-mod to a masterpiece in a very short time-span. I love the effort put into this mod and the very high amounts of quality in everything you guys are doing. Keep up the lovely work!
You guys have my vote for MOTY ;)
Rohan is too awesome to only have to come from the East B)
There is Numenor, but I doubt Arnor will make an appearance.
In Medieval 2, there is a feature called "hotseat" which allows multiple players to play the campaign together, but it has to be on the same computer (it cannot be played online). You need Kingdoms to be able to activate this mode.
For this mod, there is a hotseat script that allows multiple players to play one campaign, but I forget where it is.
Many of the units that you see are going to be in 1.5 and are only previews for the next version ;)
I think the six-legged variant looks more intimidating.
If it's anything like your other work, I'm sure I will.
I had lots of fun fighting the Shredder and Krang in the Rumble Room. I'll definitely try the story mode when I get the chance. :D
Neither can I! :D
There are several races, split into many factions.
They are (and remember, these are races, not the factions):
-Humans (Empire, Kislev, Border Princes, Marauders *part of the Chaos Hordes, and Brettonian mercs)
-Elves (High Elves and Dark Elves)
-Green skins (Orcs, Goblins, and Night Goblins)
-Demons (Chaos Demons from Nurgle, Slaanesh, Khorne, and Tzeentch)
-Possessed Humans (Chaos Warriors *they aren't exactly human or demonic*)
-The Undead (part of Sylvannia)
-Half-lings (mercs only)
-Ogres (mercs only)
The factions are:
-Orcs & Goblins
NPC factions include:
-The Grand Theogonist
Waiting for a few bugs to be squashed (and I'm not talking about the zerg here :P) is well worth the wait.
Congratz on the soon-to-be release and I can't wait to try this sucker out!
With my mod, you can.
You can also play as any faction in custom battles.
Just pm me and I'll send you the link ;)
This is in no way related to the Elder Scrolls series, I can assure you that much.
Credits go to Cedric37 for the border art Squeaks for the actual unit pic and putting it together.
Not for a while.
We may release a custom-battle/mini-campaign demo sometime in the near future, but that has yet to be determined.
Fantastic work, you guys!
I'm not quite at liberty to say what our scripts will hold, but they will be interesting nonetheless. Some of which you will have never seen before in any Medieval 2 mod.
I am soooooo sorry I did not get back to you sooner. I didn't realize you posted on my account.
But yes, it is possible to do a TATW vs CoW vs Medieval 2 vanilla mod. You can combine any mod really.
This is the type of mod I've been waiting for since Generals! I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye on this!
My fantasy battle is dominating the Scrin as the USA. That would be so amazing!
I wish you and the entire team the best with this mod :)
Ok, if you don't get a reply from Yeoman soon, ask Isilendil. He's usually quick to answer :)
Glad to see that this will be its own mod.
I must ask you something though: did you get permission from the CoW team? I don't want to see you guys have any negative repercussions on the TWC because you did this out of impatience.
You know I wish you guys the best and I congratulate all of you on all of your hard work.
No, I don't think so.
