Just to clarify, we had no involvement in the Co-Op mod for this. So story line wise, it isn't 'Canon' to our fiction.
We just gave them the OK to make it because y'know why not?

But stay tuned for new things on the radar because our commercial project is set in the same universe!

Oh no! We will forever be trapped in the genre of "No weapons & Flashlights"! Pigeon-holed for all eternity! Darn those games that have both of those things! It must mean they are superior somehow according to you!!

Not one of the devs, nor any of our playtesters got this bug, so nothing much we can do to anticipate it. We've tried several fixes/patches to remedy the issue, but it seems there isn't any work around. There was no error made during the map making process.

The mod has nothing to do with/is not inspired by Slenderman.

Well good for you sharing that with the whole of the internet.

1. You're never going to be able to play Black Snow or ANY HL2 EP2 related mod until you buy a legit copy of EP2 on steam and install it.

2. Why in the world don't you use Steam? You have no idea how much you're missing out on.

Are you serious? You've like never in the history of gaming been able to install PC steam mods on your console. The only game that tried that and failed was Unreal Tournament 3.

You need a PC with Steam & EP2 installed, full stop.

Sir 'Guest' or anyone else for that matter. I'm sure I speak for Kremator when I say you don't really need our permission to play the mod on your youtube channels. We are flattered that you want to do let's plays of Black Snow in the first place, so go nuts! :)

To be fair, we had other smaller youtubers contact us about doing playthroughs and in terms of popularity it's been pretty decent before Pewdiepie uploaded his video today.

And yes we appreciate his support (though he did not contact us), regardless of people's personal stance on the guy.

There is a concrete block on the floor in the middle of the gym room that has an ignition key in it. The hammer and chisel breaks it free. Head back to the reception area where you have to move the crate away from the door and there will be a new section to explore.

I usually try to avoid posting negative crits, but this mod looks like a nightmarish Black Mesa WIP, it all looks just....wrong.

Bad-*** update Banter, I nearly crapped myself at the amount of views/trackers we have for today 0.o, awesome.

how so? It's from inside an apartment that has had no maintenance or upkeep for a long time, wallpapers would start to peel and rip and it would be pretty dusty IMO. The area is far from finished but it's just a demonstration of the mood at the moment!

It's best to talk to Banter about working on this, I don't really have full 100% control in who we recruit (as I'm not project lead), I can only suggest people to him who I think would be a helpful and productive member...Some of the stuff for Warhound you did looked nice...though I doubt you will be able to bastardize any of that content into Field Zone, as I think we have the locations document drafted. Just swing him a PM, see what he says :)

Yeah, the influence is Russian style architecture, looking at apartment blocks, but also adding my own flair to make it more interesting. And don't worry, the displacements will be worked on!
