Hello and thanks for playing!
As to answer your question about the voices. At the end, all notes (or most of them) will have voices. Right now, not all of them have voices because we haven't recorded those yet. We are slowly getting all of them and including them in the game. Usually we add them as they become available.

I just tried it myself, putting old saves inside the game folder, and I get the same error you get (saves not loading and the "back" button not working).
The thing is that for some reason the one I have installed on my hard drive works fine, but the one I uploaded to desura doesn't? O_o I am thinking maybe I screwed up versions somehow...

As for your question, yes, you can save. If you hear a weird music box, a save point is nearby. It looks like a box with a photograph of a blond girl lying on a bed.

Hello!
Thanks a lot for the comments and for posting the video. Watching it now! I was also reading some of the comments, they are very nice.

That lever bug seems to be very elusive! I thought I had fixed it already... but it seems it just won't go away.
There's an update coming soon, so I shall find that bug and kill it for good!

I saw the last video. Looks like you got stuck next to the church, and then the entire screen went black or something like that (I noticed the main menu was very dark, so I am assuming the options got screwed up somehow >_< ). You can try going back to the options menu and change your brightness.

Hello all, well I FINALLY found out what the problem was. We had updated to the latest version of UDK and it seems Epic kinda-broke the "UnSetup.exe" file and that's why you've been having all those problems. I reverted to an older version of the file (one that did work), I've tested it on the computers I have available and it's working. I am going to upload a fix now and you should be able to download it in a couple of days or so.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for letting me know about this problem!!!

Hello all. I am trying to find a solution to those crashes you get when you download the game through Desura. In the meantime, you can use the Standalone Enola EXE installer directly from the Enola Desura product page, that one works perfectly.
I will try to get an updated version for the Desura client as soon as possible.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

BTW have you tried by downloading the "Enola EXE Installer" directly from the product page?

Does the problem happen with this version as well, or just the one you get from the Desura client?

Hello. I don't know how the Desura client updates the game, so I need to ask. Does the client just "update" files or does it reinstalls the entire game? I am thinking it may just updated files that were "changed" and not reinstalling the whole thing, causing it to break :-/
Can you try reinstalling the game and then installing it again? If you need to keepyour save file go to Enola\Binaries\Win32 and copy the savedata.bin somewhere else, then uninstall-and-reinstall the game, and then put the savedata.bin file back in. I hope this helps

Hi, does this happen all the time or only in specific areas? I know a few areas on the island tend to slow down because there are many trees and the level isn't well optimized yet (working on that). Overall we're still missing some optimizations so the screen doesn't slowdown due to the amount of polygons on the screen.

That usually means you don't have DX9 installed. The thing about DirectX is that installing DX11 or DX10 will not install DX9. However you can browse to c:\Enola\Binaries\Redist\ and there you will find UE3Redist.exe that installs all the required libraries including DX9
