It's not a stupid question. This remake is not only about better graphics but about telling a story. We did already some research on NPC's and we will try to implent different things. I can't tell much about it but NPC's will react on dynamic changes and other NPC's. The AI is an important factor in our game.

We are alwayse in need of some good men to fill up our ranks. 3D artists and character artists are alwayse welcome. I can't say the exact number but we are with 20 or so.

Like we said before, we won't use any asset from BMS. We want to create our own version of Black Mesa and Xen. About the music, our composers are still working on it, so nothing is final. We will discuss the M4 and MP5 in the final stages of the game. And about Guard Duty, we are trying to do our best to deliver a great game. It's a personal opinion but I think Blue Shift was a short but great addon.

We know that the expectations are high and that we need to deliver a good product because Opossing Force is a beloved addon from one of the greatest game series. I can say that we are loyal to the original atmosphere but we will try to add a lot more content. I think you will like the final product.
We don't know yet. All I can say is that you will not need to pay it to play the game. There will be alwayse a free version.
First of all, thank you for your kind words. Greenlit means that we can post our game on steam (free/paid) We are still discussing if we are going for a paid version. We alwayse promised that this will be free so there is going to be a free version anyway. OBM won't be on the steam store page soon. We want to deliver a full game with Xen so people can play the full story. You will have to wait a little bit more. But all I can say is that the game is going well and that even the dev's are excited about the progress :)

2. We will stay with the original story with some extra levels but those extra levels need to fit in the story. It's not sure if we will add a big battle.
3.No, every npc is unique and we won't replace them. On the other hand we will make them smarter and harder to kill. So they can stay with you for a longer periode.

Yes we will add alot of elements the the AI so they react on changes in the environment and behaviour of the player and other npc's. We found this a key-element in the half life world and we will expand this in our games.

Hey, thanks for the vote! About the music for OBM, our department is still working on it so it won't be the same as it was 5 years ago. We know in what direction we want to go with the OBM music. The big movie soundtracks are cool but don't fit the Opposing force atmosphere. We want to create a soundtrack that has respect for the old Opposing force music and still have a new feeling.
