i like to create whatever the hell i can in modding tools. like stacking 9 ion cannons on a hig battlecruiser. worth it.
Those arguments are very, very hollow. yes warhammer had INSPIRATION, but all of its lore, races and design is extremely original. i hate when people say "oh, 40k is just a copy of starship troopers." What a load of shite. How are 2 and a half meter genetically enchanced soldiers, clad in holy armor, similar to a couple of future rednecks clad in shards of plastic? Yes, some of warhammer was INSPIRED by the original books, but it is far removed and the link exists as a tiny thread. In the same way the design of tyranids is INSPIRED by alien, but the resemblance is very small. Again they have developed their own ideas to an original slant. All great fantasy or sci-fi works have inspiration from outer sources. The truly great create an original universe, brimming with originality. The bad ones blatanly rip off the great ones (*cough* starcraft).
Also, starcraft is a fun game, but a really lazy sci-fi universe.
thanks mate. Can't wait to see that finished mod :)
Lol. paybacks a bitch
The guy is on Deviant art. Can't remember his name though.
Yeah but they are a good way to introduce people to warhammer. like a fisher price "My first space marine"
Sorry for that I'll fix it.
That is AWESOME.
Why yes it is sir.
I would love to see dark angels as the main chapter, but for the game they want to appeal to new people for warhammer so they want simple plot armored heroes. Personally, I think they should use black templars with their awesome medieval bashing super swords.
Dan abnetts Eisenhorn omnibus, or gaunts ghosts-the founding, are both fabulous books.
Proof warhammer isn't as nerdy as starcraft

Well they are. and the emperor is bigger again. Also they tend to be a bit crazier.

Just a quick few questions on the nameless thing
1) How big is that compared to a man? I would love to see that so big that even aragorn would only have been as high as the maw
2) When you say deep in moria, do you mean where there are still proper dwarven tunnels or when you get to ancient natural caverns and cracks running through the rock?
PS Any chance of putting Smaug in there somewhere? Or a dragon of any kind?
Thats one very evil troll face....
