Sorry you had such a negative experience man. We aren't getting paid to make something like this. We are amateurs in the truest sense of the word, basically. We did put a lot of time and effort into the mod and we did it out of the love of creation and artistic expression.

I know you had problems with the controls, but really this isn't an action title. Its a different kind of game, entirely. Judging from your description though, its possible you simply had some graphical glitches. There is a lot of color correction going on, and we've gotten some feedback from a few players that a select minority of Video Cards are having trouble with this.

Maybe you shoudl cross reference with some of the screen shots? Maybe you could tell us what graphic card you have so we can improve. Specifically the GeForce 7's seem to be having problems now and then...

maybe you could re frame your criticism in a way that could help us learn more? We want to make something compelling and fun, and surely its not everyones cup of tea, but we are dedicated to ironing out technical errors for our next release.

Have you ever made a Mod yourself? Its tedious work :)

sounds like you're talkin bout some hot, nasty counterpoint action, fellah.

Lets just say I'm a fan also.

Perhaps if your rhythmically offset your voices that might be a good starting point to begin experimenting with independent lines?

fantastic.

The ring modualted/bit crushed drumlin that comes in 1/3 of the way is so damned sleek!

samGwise is right about the middle... Its where the climax of the piece seems like it should be. It snot bad- its just the rest is so damned good its got big shoes to fill.

thanks for the awesome track!

Another fine track, rollsballs.

I liked it a lot - I think i would like it more if you pitch shifted the wardrum down a third or so, or give it a little "bump" in the 80 hz range. Its so prominent and could stand to shake me harder.

The distant metallic tibre drum is really fantastic, as is the tom/tablaesque line.

Really good material. Thanks for posting this! I could really feel myself marching to war.

oh lawd!! This is indeed EXTREMELY 80s to the EXTREME.

your power snare could use a little more power. I mean..if you want it to be extra 80s nasty of course ;)

i recommend a strong reverb and noise gate on the snare. This should make for an excessively 80s punchy snare that will haunt your dreams and incite comments like "been listening to mr Gabriel and Collins eh?"

Oh yeah. I like the track btw! You're a wacky dude! :P

I was implying that this was music i was considering "active" listening, unlike much of the diagetic music found in film and videogames.

I enjoy writing ambient or underscored tracks I was just classifying this as something a little different.

Thanks for your time to listen to my music. I am grateful for your input!

I agree with bunny. The drums are too "set it and forget it". Really change them up!

the sixteenth note "choppy distorted noise" is absolutely awesome! ...that happens right before the piano part. I found myself hoping something more interesting would happen to that repetitive piano line when it came in..maybe something on the offbeats some interval- say a third up? I'd bust out a little counterpoint there. its begging for development.

Dude. banging track! thanks!
