Man, just randomly stumbled on this page again just in time to see you're still working on it.

PLEASE tell me you guys figured out a way to fix the pathfinding behavior when an enemy is in proximity and has direct line of sight with you, this issue existed before where they would directly run into walls or half-height objects without trying to get around them effectively creating godspots. An example would be your picture of Bunker Defense, before if I stood on the inside of that little wood wall and they were on the other side they'd just run straight into it indefinitely.

I read in the last article that more level changes were planned but are the weapons also going to be reanimated eventually as well? I really like the empty reloads and I'm hoping whoever did those would also do faithful remakes/redo's of the standard vanilla reloads as well.

I really liked HL MMOD but HL2 MMOD was kind of lame. The weapons and gunplay is good and the special effects are nifty but they definitely don't feel as new or exciting as they are in HL MMOD. The campaign is virtually unchanged so it comes off as a glorified Gamebanana pack rather than a cool new way to play HL2.

I'm hoping level changes and improvements are planned similar to the few modified areas in HL MMOD because it got old real fast playing default HL2.

Hey Sergeant, any plans to expand on the tactical portion of BD? I've been doing a Permadeath stream series trying to get through the entire game in Tactical Hard Realism and it would be cool to see more immersive features added. Nothing on the level of Hideous Destructor where you stand in place for ten minutes and cycle menus but maybe introducing item pickup animations, unloading gun animations to get their ammo, a bandage/bleeding system, slowing down sprint speeds, not being able to hip-fire when leaning without ironsights, hip-firing greatly decreasing accuracy. Things like that which expand upon the gameplay option.

If you check my Twitch channel of the same name I just did a stream of it last night if you wanted to see what I'm trying to go for. VOD will be up for only 15 days as per Twitch.

Mxthe, blow me away, amaze me, make me stop whatever I'm doing and force me to open this page faster than I can take a breath.

Tell me, after all these years, that Chapter 2 of Underhell is a thing. In 2016 I was against the idea of the mod moving to UE but after all these years I just want to know how the story continues and eventually ends.

It's been 9 years since anything was said about this one of a kind mod. Make my day and the community's.

Was that bug fixed where sometimes pulling out the backpack can glitch softlocking your game/all keyboard inputs? Had that happen a little bit ago and it killed my permadeath run.

Did a full stream series of the Half-Life 2 portion of the game. While a lot of criticism is warranted I think people making this out to be the worst mod ever is a bit unwarranted. I had a lot of fun in parts and had a hard time finding the fun in others, in short this mod just needs some more time in the oven which I hope the devs plan to do. All 5 parts here:

I would like to get into mapping for HL:S myself, do you have an FGD that includes all of the proper legacy entities or know where I can get it because it's not included in the retail game and the only one I could find via VDC has errors and missing entity information.

Edit: Would be interested in helping out in the mapping department but I don't know if my own plans would mesh well with yours on top of not knowing whether or not this kick I have to edit the HL:S maps will last. But if you want to help me get started and I can see what I can do.

This turned out to be a sleeper mod, it's a diamond in the rough and honestly I had a lot of fun with it despite the lack of autosaves in the mod. The work that went into making the environments detailed, the custom weapons, music choice and sound design, ultimately made for a very fun mod which I enjoyed greatly. I highly recommend!

It's too bad the zombie mode is using the new zombie sounds they did instead of the prototype Nacht sounds which added more of a horror element to the game. Any chance of swapping them out with the old sounds or giving the option to do so?
