Yes I have actually. Im still implementing into the game to see what works best but thats definitely on the table.

The Hunter was voted on by Patreon members. Perhaps they will vote thr Marine next? It will get done eventually, regardless.
P.S. sorry i cut the clip just before the music gets going... Could listen to Halo CE menu all day!
Yes...I have one now. I know its almost cliche because of how often we hear "like, sub, and join my Patreon" on YouTube and the like but I finally decided to make an account anyway.
I've had several requests for this and to be honest, modding takes a tremendous amount of time. That is time that is scarce (as you are all VERY familiar with by now) considering I have two kids and have to also pay the bills etc. My hope is that enough people sign up that I can divert some of that time from other paying gigs into the mod itself. I don't expect to make a living, just enough that I can justify the time spent working on this because it pays for something like the internet bill or a tank of gas, and so on.
Anyone who feels inclined to sign up and become a patron, thank you. Truly. There's no expectation here at all or sense of entitlement. I'm just a simple man, trying to make my way in the universe....and finish this mod before I'm dead.
The Patreon is here: patreon.com/CommissionCave
It operates in conjunction with my commission Discord server, which is here: Discord.gg
The perks of each tier are for both the mod and the commission channel and should appeal to you, regardless of whether you plan to commission work or not. That said, this is still in what we can call the experimental stage and I am very open to feedback on the structure, perks, and pricing.
Thanks again for anything you are willing to contribute!
Thanks for the shout out! A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
The ship name and number designation will be randomly selected from a list, for non-hero versions of the ship. "Horn of Ragnarok" just happens to be what was picked when I loaded map editor for the screenshots.
He is a cool guy. He shots aliens and doesn't afraid of anything.
Always working on it...progress is just slow because I have a 1 year old and i lost my job due to the pandemic, so most of my time is being a dad and also earning whatever money I can. Much less time for modding.
I will be making those transports as well in due time
I'm going to guess you are playing on Steam. If so, the old land beta for this mod was not updated for the Steam version and wont work.
Just wanted to thank everyone! I know progress is like...slower than the geologic timescale...
Lemme tell you...raising a baby is LOT of work lol. Progress will still be slow as I continue to do that and commission work to earn some money (still out of a job because of the blasted pandemic). But I am at least to a point now where I can be doing something again.
That list of mods isn't even comprehensive... I think assets from just about every single mod are being used without permission in this...thing.
I messaged INtense! about it directly.
The proof of theft in undeniable. Another report coming your way.
I've messaged the admins directly.
How many galactic days have passed before you saved? Or is this a new campaign? I have hear reports that save games become corrupted if the game lasts too many days... But I have tested personally that my save games do work but this is only for a few galactic days.
Alright all you GOG bois, this one is for you! Now you are all caught up with the Steam version ;)
Shaders on minimum will result in graphical issues with this mod. This sounds like a graphics card/driver issue to me. Even a good card can sometimes display the shaders for this game incorrectly (especially AMD cards).
Ah, that would be a bug then. Thanks for pointing it out!
If the issue is specific to things like trees, this seems like a shader problem. Are you playing the mod on max graphic settings?
Took a couple of small liberties with this one but I think it's still true to the original.
Anyway, I will be taking some time off over the next few weeks because (for those that don't know) I will be welcoming my first child into the world and want time to enjoy fatherhood and to help my wife recover from birth. I may still find time to work on the mod but wanted to announce my happy news and explain why there may be no updates for perhaps a month or longer.
I honestly can't get over how freaking great this model and texture are. I know how much work was poured into it and it truly shows. You ought to be quite proud.
Once the Steam version has been patched up to completion with all bugs fixed, I will release one giant patch/fix on Moddb.
Deathstar is not in the mod. The mod takes place about 15 years after Battle of Endor.
As for special units, you can build:
Clawcraft on Csilla
"Uglies" and other obsolete craft on pirate worlds like Tatooine
And a few others...
I cant accept money directly for the mod due to copyright reasons but you can support me in other ways by donating through my YouTube channel, buying a commission or buying through my Turbosquid store. My YouTube is JefferyCheney (search rise of the mandalorians and you should find it). If all else fails, the PayPal linked there is jeff@jefferycheney.com. In any case, I appreciate the support!
Yes. Galactic Conquest will be completed as well
Only if there is a place for it, that makes logical sense. For example, the rail gun is pretty much interchangeable with the Spartan Laser. There is no need to shoehorn one in when its role is filled by the other and its already lore accurate.
Lol. About 200 verts and 512x512 texture only. EaW will be fine :)
