I am me. That is all.
I have zero experience with programing networked multi player. But it is definitely something I'm interested in trying. In the meantime if you have a homebrew enabled Wii you can play single screen co-op with two to four players.
It was the compromise I had to make at the time to get it running on Wii. I scrapped what I had done and remade it all with software rendering. The sequel will look better.
Thanks :) Any recommendations on how it should be improved?
Nice :) I love the premise and the screenshots look great.
The sound effects brought back some good memories :)
Wiibrew is a great source of information on how to go about running homebrew on Wii.
Its my understanding that at the moment its still a bit of an inconvenience running homebrew if you have the most recent firmware (4.3) but otherwise its fairly easy to setup. Feel free to PM me if you get stuck on anything and want help.
Wiibrew is a great source of information on Wii homebrew and has an up to date step by step tutorial for how to setup the homebrew channel (which will enable you to run homebrew programs on your Wii).
If you get stuck on anything I would be happy to help.
Looks great :D
Scratch that. I'm back to work on it now.
You cant save them. Not yet. The games still incomplete.
The game will always (or at least for the foreseeable future) be 2D and unanimated. But I will be adding something sometime soon that will hopefully please the haters of arrows.
Cool. I love the idea of having games in a relatably mundane real world type setting (its sad that the insanity of GTA is one of the most grounded in reality game franchises) and I love turn based RPGs.
There are guns in R12 (the third to most recent download available here) but I haven't gotten around to reimplementing them yet (I restarted working on the game from scratch). You will be able to shoot and kill zombies again in the next release of the game though.
I love game level editors! The GUI and overall interface seems really nice. Almost as nice as the crazy pretty game :) keep up the great work.
Well I suppose its better anyways to take your time to get it right then rush out something that's barely functional.
Nice. Split screen always seemed like one of those few things better suited to consoles then PC but that might just be me. regardless its still a really great feature to have.
Its hard to get too excited since there isnt really anything available of the actual game yet but the few out of context models/textures look great so far. I'm all for the idea of an original pokemon game for PC. Lookin forward to seeing more.
I'm not working on They Do Not Die right now (I've taken a break to experiment with other things) but when I return to it that's definitely something I'd like to work into the game.
I'm working on Wii homebrew stuff right now and I'm not really sure when I will get around to returning to working on this.
First off get the latest version of DirectX. You need to have DirectX 9.0c or higher and even if you already have it just download and install it again anyways.
If it still isn't working then I suppose just do a google search for a download the specific dll file that it says is missing and drop it into the same folder as the games executable. I'm not sure what else to recommend aside from that.
Essentially everything that's been changed is mentioned here
The level selection screen which allows for there to be multiple levels is new but aside from that most of the changes are nothing major.
What Dll does it saying your missing? You probable just need to install a more recent version of DirectX (you need to have DirectX 9.0c or higher installed).
The cubes seem to be wider then they are tall which I think makes them technically not cubes.
Has anyone seen the unrelated Jim Henson made for TV movie called The Cube. It was awesome. It has a vaguely similar premise but it was more of an existentialist comedy then a horror film.
Anyways back on subject: a game based on the cube films (is it based on them or just superficially similar?) seems like it could potentially be cool.
Interesting concept for gameplay :) I'm looking forward to trying it out.
Cool I love cyberpunk :)
Looks great :)
It didn't seem to respond to input in game (escape returned me to the menu every time but WASD/arrows/mousemovements did nothing) but that could just be my craptastic computer (the frame rate wasn't too great for me either).
It looks great though. Everything in the description/vids/images all seems really cool.
A (presumably) free Star Trek MMO with a level of graphical quality that my shamefully low end computer will probably actually be able to run? Hells yeah. I hope this gets completed. I think this actually seems potentially more appealing then the official Star trek MMO.
they look awesome :) and ditto what WhiteHawke said. If they where real i would buy em.
