Yeah this is insane!
Yeah this is insane!
There are those who said this day would never come. What are they to say now?
AotR 2.8.1 is now released on moddb! Keep in mind this is unstable for non-Steam versions, so use at your own risk. We will not be supporting any issues with this version in any way.
Sure let me just delete the moddb page because of one entitled fan.
Newest patch (coming soon) will address this and many other issues!
Yes we do want to re-add Mara Jade, but probably for the NR era when we get to it.
MC75 from Rogue One will find its way in, but we will continue to have the old MC75 as well!
Sorry but anything newer than 2.6 will not work on non-steam version, so there is no reason to upload it here. We will update the mod description with the link to the steam workshop!
Both of those heros are tied to specific story events, that is why you can not build them initially, but only once the story events are triggered.
2.6 and 2.7 versions of AotR should no longer effect other mod's AIs. That was an issue with 2.5 and previous versions.
We are looking into a solution for non steam versions of the game. However, the mod will have to be stripped down in order to fit within the memory constraints of the non-steam versions.
Multiplayer is supported as of 2.7.1, with an update to it coming in 2.7.2 soon.
We have tested 2.7.1 with LAA/4GB patch on disk/gog and it is not stable. Only steam has the petroglyph patch that fixes saves from being corrupted due to memory constraints. Unfortunately if we release it as a download on moddb you will only be able to play skirmish and no GC. We do not feel like being flooded with reports of instability because they are running on a non-steam version.
EDIT: If you want AotR to come to disk/GOG, ask petroglyph to release a patch for those version to update them to the steam version. This mod (and other mods that push the memory limits) need that patch to run stable, so petition the developers to support the other versions of the game.
Thank you for this bug list sir! We will look into all of this.
Yep that's the one. We released in November but it took me a while to write an update.
Not going to happen unfortunately until petro patches the disk and gog versions. The mod is not stable without the steam patches.
Cloakshapes and Toskans just didn't feel Rebel enough. They still use the R41, Twing, and Z95 since they were specifically mentioned in lore material.
Nebulon Bs carried fighters on external racks, hung on the small connector shaft. At 300 meters I think they can carry maybe around six anyways.
This is by far going to be one of the greatest modding models ever made.
Nope, the bombing runs change based on what unit you have in orbit
Yeah we know about this problem, we have a fix planned for 2.7
Your overconfidence is your weakness...
Yes it is not buildable as a single unit, and will be part of the storm commando "unit" We will reveal more about it soon.
That's basically the same thing but a minor difference. It wouldn't really have a point other than "here's a slightly weaker Tie Punisher" So the answer to that will be a no.
