I believe HH was using "Mandalorians" to replace the Mandalorian players in the RP, in other words you, Wout and Adenn.

The powers you get are rather vague. I'm assuming they'll be a limit to how many Force Powers you can have at each level ect., but I'm really working from nothing here.

Without knowing how the whole system will work, I can't really provide an accurate skill tree. This is just a basic layout.

If you've read the skill details, you'll know I've said "Offence allows you to use abilities such as X, Y and Z at a low level" or whatever. "Abilities such as" implies that you chose them.

The Sith need a specific tree for each class, to restrict their Force abilities and to stop an Inquisitor being able to use both Marauder and Inquisitor type abilities.

I did say you can create the skill tree for the Mandos. Or another mando, I'm leaving that up to you guys. Same with the Jedi/Feds, leaving that up to them. I'm just doing the Sith Order.

HH: Yeah, I've used Hammerheads before as fast attack frigates.

Ori: Hammerhead is too small to be a capital ship compared to modern day ones. I guess you could make it bigger, if you really wanted to, but that'd be weird.

I partly agree, but partly disagree.

While I see your point, I believe modernizing old tech should be encouraged rather than making fannon ships or vehicles. I have no problem with fannon stuff, as long as it's fair. I may be speaking alone here, but I love using cannon ships and stuff. Hammerheads, Sith Interdictors, Venators, ISDs, all of them pretty much rock.

I love AATs, Battle droids, in fact much of the CIS units. And this is a Star Wars RP, we should be able to use such things without having a disadvantage against fannon units. I was in fact planning to bring back the AAT, as it is a pretty good tank.

So cannon=fannon, in my opinion. Whether it is practical or not, we are RPing. We should be able to use whatever unit we want from the Star Wars time line in the present day. Of course, not stuff such as the Death Star or anything xD.

Praxis has already said what could go wrong with this system, but I'll comment anyway.

In the system I represented (not my system, Praxis came up with the idea) you require X amount of skill points to move up. This means that to reach the pinnacle of your power, you'd need to stay in the RP and participate in events. Skill points will be given out by the GMs for participating in events (the system is still under development, HH and Saber have yet to show us how it'll work) and used to increase your power.

Now, to stop one character being OP in everything we've made it so that you chose a class, and you can only really become OP in that class. So the Inquisitor, whilst he may be able to influence lots of people and perform devastating Force attacks, is useless in command and suffers in close combat. This allows people to know specifically what they can and cannot do, and allow them to use their character with that in mind. Your system is pretty much like the one we had, except it is written down. We need stricter rules to make sure people don't become OP, and that is what I've shown.

This is open, of course, to debate. It isn't a really hard system, to be honest. Rather simple, get a point, add a point, one step closer to the next level.

1) It wasn't a battle. It was a "Imperial fleets jump in, see the massive Mandalorian defenses, jump out". No battle.

Those defenses were disputable, as the Mandalorians had only one sector and enough defenses to hold out an Armada plus 4-6 fleets. So in the new lore that is removed.

2) I have written the minimum that is required to understand what has happened. Ori said there were reforms and a Mandalorian Civil War against the Mandalore at that time. Please discuss this with Ori, because it was far too time consuming to get even this basic Mandalorian lore out, and even then none of you really like it. Like I said, talk with the others and come to some sort of agreement that is fair for everyone.

3) Sorry, but the Uprising is required for the lore, as I've told Ori. Keep in mind that many people are losing out on stuff. I, for example, am losing the entire Resistance battles pretty much, the one I like the most was Bonadon, in which I believe me and HH destroyed 2 Imperial fleets.

I'm sorry, but the only faction I have problems with in the lore is the Mandalorians. You're a complicated bunch, and I don't just mean the Mandalorians themselves (they're quite simple to understand, really). I've had long talks with Ori over Xfire just to produce the few lines that compose the Uprising. I've left it all open, mentioning nothing specific. If you want a new, more detailed lore, explain to me what happened and I'll write it in. Or just write it in yourselves.

For all those people who don't like this because they think it is too game like:

The RP is pretty much one big game. In the past, it was a game without rules to limit our characters. Now this system is going to try and limit those characters. Unless you propose another system instead, one more simple and effective than this one, I see no other alternative.

Praxis: I think this one would be easier to use. It shows you exactly where you are, is clear and precise ect.

But that's just my opinion.

Everyone, including myself, start out as low level characters. As low as the RP permits, anyway.

Faction leaders only control the NPC currently in command of the faction. Darth Yoran, for example, would not be my character but a character I control (limited control of course).

Right, seems like the lore didn't do a good job of explaining things >.<.

The RP as you knew it stopped at the formation of the Fels. Everything after that is either deleted or edited.

The Fels fell (hey! A pun! xD). The Federation has just formed, the Mandos have just regained their independence, and the Empire has withdrawn to the Core.

We now fast forward ten years. So its:

Old RP-->Imperial Civil War (Fels vs Empire)-->Fels fall-->Mandalorian Uprising-->Formation of the Federation + reemergence of the Hutts-->Ten years of Galactic Cold War-->Present day, start of the RP.

I don't see how Jester or Adenn are in any way non-existant. Jester doesn't create the PA, but he still exists. I don't know what Adenn did or what happened, but I'm sure it can be integrated into the lore.

This was the idea the others proposed, which you said you liked...

Plus this is just a skill tree. No matter how you present it, it pretty much comes back to the same basic idea.

Basically you spend a skill point, increase your power in that area until you reach the next level. You said in a previous image that you liked that idea. Praxis and HH said a system like Mass Effect. This is that. I pretty much like the system. Simple to use, effective and fair.

He'd of had to leave the Empire quite early then, and possibly supply Fels/Resistance with info and stuff.

Or do as you said and create a new char.

I would probably create another character if I were you. The fact that Praxis changed sides quite a lot and joined the Empire at its peak would not be liked at all by the Jedi, or Federation. But you could be Praxis, you should just expect not many people to really trust you xD.

AK: That'd be good. Hopefully by the time the second election comes up Pain will take command and I can safely step up as GM.

Actually, since you're an independent character, it may be easier to flesh him out whilst your still GM. As long as you don't do missions that will effect the RP as a whole too much (against factions, for example) I'm sure no one will really mind.

I can always be called upon to RP as the baddie of an event. I'm sure Praxis would't mind setting up the mission (not really good at that sort of thing xD).

NG: You can't consult me, don't you see? As GM, consulting me will seem like cheating to the others. If someone wanted to attack the Sith Order secretly, and you (not knowing) increase defenses we may have a huge argument about whether or not I told you and divulged info ect.

A GM must sever all ties to his/her faction for the time being.

I just want to set the Empire/Order up, and lead it for the first month (until the next GM vote) so as to get it up on its feet and have it ready and stuff.

Although I trust you if you're under my orders (xD) as GM I cannot help you in anyway at leading the Sith or Empire. So I'd prefer to be safe than sorry rather then the opposite.

Agreed with HH.

AK: Most of the events can be integrated into the new lore, you just have to change them round to fit in with it.

Such as the duel of Zonama Sekot, you could just say that you challenged Pain to a duel. The others came along, and Kevn and Dvasi came out to help. Easy.

Or your Nym character. Just say the Hutts gave you the bounties/missiosn, or independent governments.

But events that involve factions that no longer exist are wiped off, such as battles ect.

Wait, we have a problem...

The Empire/Sith Order only has 2 members without me or Pain. Pain I presume will lead the Empire and I'll lead the Sith Order, but without that it leaves Imperator and NG alone. Now, I don't want to be nasty or mean but they aren't exactly the greatest in terms of faction leaders when compared with people such as Ori and Praxis (who I presume will lead the Mando/Feds?)

I'm gonna have to step down and organize both factions. Especially since for the first month, we'll need a strong leader.

I'm really sorry, but unless something is done about that I just don't want to let the Empire/Sith fall or be at a disadvantage too quickly.

I hope I haven't called offense to you two xD.

Maybe I could be GM for the first week, like HH, to get things running, then someone else take my place? Or something? xD.

Someone creating a Warrior-type character would have to either be independent or a Mandalorian. Most "warriors" in other factions are simply soldiers, and this RP is on a far too big scale to account for soldiers.

Thus he would be a commander. Commanders would have decent combat training, obviously. They would hardly command without knowing how to defend themselves.

Plus I said it would be a secondary skill...

Ten10dix Apr 28 2013, 12:58pm replied:

Hybrids exist.

Sith Marauder: Warrior/Commander
Sith Inquisitor: Force User/Politics

Jedi Guardian: Warrior/Commander
Jedi Consular: Force User/Diplomacy

I think Warrior is rather... Redundant. Only people who would really want that is Mandalorians.

Instead, absorb Warrior into Commander, as a individual skill (most commanders would learn to fight just in case).

Mandalorians could be an individual skill tree, focused on Commander/Warrior/Forger type, whereas other Commanders would have Commander/Warrior as their primary skills plus a possible Politics secondary skill.

May seem confusing, but to all those who can see my Inquisitor skill tree, I've made two "primary" skills, Offence and Politics. Each of them have an expansion (Offence: Obliteration, Politics: Manipulation) which add to the original skill. Defence has only one branch, though, and so is a secondary skill.

You have to see it to understand xD.

But Sith, for example, will have 2 Offence trees (Offence + Obliteration), meaning they can be really good attackers (with a maximum offence skill of 30) whereas the Jedi would have only one offence tree (Offence, probably) and thus only have 15. However, in defense they'll have two, making for a maximum defense of 30, which is equal to the Sith's offence 30.

Like I said, may seem really complicated like that but download my two files and you'll see it is really simply xD.

Ten10dix Apr 28 2013, 12:46pm replied:

Yep, that's what I meant.

Using a fleet to remove them would be worthless. Sure, they will have some ships to defend themselves if the worse comes to the worse, but simply going to Nal Hutta and yelling "OI! You Hutts! Get out here so I can beat you to death with mah big zappy fleet!" would be useless. They'd just respond by saying "Come at me bro, Imah play hide and seek" and make your life a living hell if you were to stay on the planet.

Sending agents after them before going to Nal Hutta may be a more viable option, and could actually create a few interesting events.
