Well I hope you get the team together, if you need ideas then you know who to come to lol I like having the community contribute to a game, that way the game never runs out of ideas and ends up being discontinued, also grats on making the top 100

Yeah dude that sounds awesome! you could even do water pokemon events and races too, something like "go from a to b and grab c" almost like a capture the flag game, and the other team would have to chase you and grab it back, that is if you guys end up receiving any donations, or money from your jobs if you have one. I hope you're able to set up a server or even a local co-op. Would be cool if you had a small community where you could make announcements of the "next local co-op LoK meetup" That way you could get in-game bug and game ideas from players. Since it would be considered an online game you could even get a sprite maker to help with costume ideas for the player trainers and pokemon double exp events and different things like that.

Doing team battles in co-op or online would be amazing, even travelling would be cool, you should integrate stuff into the game like bike races and special team gym battles with special prizes at the end

Indie games are definitely evolving, this looks amazing!

I think it looks great. I'm hoping this could be something that doesn't just end after months of working on it like other releases I've anticipated in the past. They were huge disappointments.
