As usual, very elegant and highdetailed artwork: fantastic work.

But I feel mappers may have is own ideas, and you can work to generate mapmodels or something to negate topics:
- tigh metal corridors
- crates
- more crates

I myself, think can be cool adding flags here and there, with a vent near, and a animation. Also can be a good idea to think about the phisics interactions hl2 engine provide. Maybe you can have HUGE HUGE HUGE corridors with halffways on sides,... hallways that huge that defender robots can patrol it. Or something heerrr... something.

Again: your work is fantastic!

The frezzes where confusing.

About codec, maybe you can open a survey somewhere to ask if people has problems. DIVX is other nice format, WMV is bad for something quake, because some guys are on Linux, Mac or dont want to install the windows media crap. Anyway WMV is a *good* format, grrr...

Works for me (Windows 2k, GSplayer, the XVid codecs provided). Except two temporal frezzes, or maybe is the video that has this two strange transitions.

Love the video.

Its a informative interview, not really new stuff is revealed, but general info about the project.

Anyway having interviews here and there always help, because more people know about the project and can give help has needed. Even file hosting for beta tests is sometimes terrible helfull.

Nice artist work. But a highpoly version of models and maps dont need a new engine. What REAL features add this new cool thing?

I really want to see a updated version of Operation Flashpoint. OF its really what ALL battlefield1942-alike games target but fail, a 'total game' where you can do anithing on battle ground (even get a civilian car and runaway from it).

Anyway, I for one, wellcome our new gamming overlord :D

Who say 256 is imposible?
256 players are posible on GIGAbit ethernet LAN party. (Anyway I doubt the HL2 engine has been tested on that big n# of clients (so will crash before, by some nasty *dumb* error somewhere).)

Lets the gods of netcode precission help this mod :D

Humm... I have played a lot Battlefield 1942: Galactic Conquest on space maps, and ...work, Its fun to drive or protect enormeous motherships. I have also play Star Wars: Battlefront with a much less enjoyable experience because maps where smaller, maybe by engine limitations.

I have strong positive feelings about this mod, but I am unsure about the engine decision. Good luck, anyway :D

Paying for mods can help modders to make better mods.
Can you buy DoD withouth paying for HL2? Here in spain its illegal to sell pieces and force people to buy the whole enchillada (force people that buy tires to buy whole cars). Anyway no one will care about.
