Ashes 3 is not cursed, we are not Valve. Work is already being done on the setup for Episode 3. It is just that the developers are working on other projects first.

Oh cool, the TOS version of the D5.
Perhaps 'sacrilege', but I honestly would not mind if this had been the D7 in the original series as I just like this design more.
It would be cool if the D9 dreadnought would also appear.
I actually wish there was an original Bridge Commander style game or mod in which these ships, the Romulan dreadnought, the Gorn ships, and the Orion pirate ship from STO "Agents of Yesterday" appeared.
Weirdly enough it makes me think of both Metroid Prime games and Starcraft.
Is that a particle fountain like the one in the Voyager episode "Alice"? (I don't mean the mining technology in TNG)
The Hirogen were always one of my favorite Voyager antagonists, at least the Season 4 ones.
They like the Borg were an enemy the crew could not talk things out with under normal circumstances, they can't be bribed or intimidated, and once they have decided to come after you they are relentless.
Also agree regarding what the best name or title would be, with Thrawn in the old EU and now in the new EU it could lead to some confusion to those who are only limitedly familiar with the character and in which series and books he appeared.
But "Return of Thrawn" would make me very interested in a book in the old EU with such a title.
I know it is pretty cliché sounding but it works for me.
I hate to bring this up as you put a lot of work in this but Noghri are suppose to be a lot smaller.
I they are around the size of a Jawa.
Oh I thought it was an Imperial Army soldier when I first saw it.
Is it a model for a driver for one of the Imperial vehicles?
I can already can imagine the Imperials facing this weapon crapping their pants.
Stormtrooper "Oh Sithspit"
It maybe fake but this is a cool screenshot.
Hmm, would the Cardassian Union and the Dominion side with the Empire if such a crossover happened?
It is probably for the best but I would have loved to have seen a model of the assimilated transport. I genuinely love that thing even if my feelings about the episode in which it appeared are mixed.
Edit: But could my idea have worked? A ship that would go on harvesting weapons and other tech from factions?
Regarding random encounters, I have this weird love/hate relationship with the Enterprise Season 2 episode "Regeneration" (I like it because it is a Borg episode, I dislike it because it does not belong in that era of Trek and does retcons IMO).
But will the assimilated Arctic One transport perhaps make an appearance in a random encounter? A single really powerful ship that perhaps attacks player and neutral factions and takes technology from them and integrates these into itself?
It was just some idea I wanted to share with you.
If I really want a classic BSG/Buck Rogers XXV crossover I should make one myself.
Have you BTW ever played that Battlestar Galactica game for the PS2/Xbox?
It also had some very nice designs for Colonial and Cylon ships such as the Colonial bomber.
As someone who liked both the original BSG and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century I wouldn't mind if you perhaps managed to fuse both series into one; BSG taking place in the same universe as Buck Rogers.
Actually been a bit of a fan fic idea of mine, the Colonial fleet reaches Earth and are greeted by Colonel Deering and Buck Roghers and both the Colonials and the Earth Defence Directorate have to work together to fight the pursuing Cylon forces.
But I am not trying to affect your vision, just mentioning some thoughts.

Hello,
I just finished Chapter 1 of this mod and I have to say that this is some very slick modding work by your team.
Something tells me that you guys may have some kind of connection to professional game development or you have had a lot of modding experience over the year.
But damn did this mod kick my ***, even on Marine difficulty. Imps and other project throwers are really fast.
It also took me a while before I finally managed to get the resolution up to better quality. (I had to modify a CFG file)
I am looking forwards to Chapter 2.
Quoting from your team's website
"Phobos is closer to games like Half-Life or Dark Forces/Jedi Knight in spirit. Just like Classic Doom, these games are types of First Person Shooters that have all but vanished. We truly are a different kind of oldschool."
I am glad to see that there are still games or mods being made with this type of old school philosophy as I am a big fan of the titles you mentioned and really mourn that they have mostly disappeared in the last decade.
I have been giving Doom 2016 a try since someone gifted it to me for my birthday. While the action may be fast it just doesn't completely engage me.
I feel more that I just going through it as I really can not say that I am that interested in seeing everything the game has to over and I fear it will be the same for Eternal.
Phobos I wanted to play to finish.

Not meant as criticism on your project or this screenshot because it is really nice and worthy as a background on Windows, but wouldn't a Class M planet orbiting a neutron star be impossible because of the radiation?
I mean it could have water and oxygen but does a neutron star put out sufficient heat? Also wouldn't the radiation make development of most life on the planet impossible? (the radiation damaging or destroying anything resembling genes or organic molecules)
Sorry for being such a nerd about this but it was just the first thing that came into my mind while reading the description.
Bit late I know but I am not sure how much influence Berman actually had on Nemesis.
From what I understand even the production was rather a mess.
Doesn't help of course that Generations kind of undid "All good things" and Star Trek 6.
Night may have fallen on Zdoom but take heart that its legacy will live on in its sister/daughter projects and of course the fans which it has brought so much joy.
Thanks for all the work and effort you put in this Randy Heit, I hope we hear from you on any new future project.
I really like the work you and and your team has done Nick.
I am so much looking forwards to the Beta of this game, it is probably my most anticipated FPS game at the moment.
Oh okay, just wanted tell him that I really like the work he did.
If I understand correctly you are Laz Rojas?
If so I want to thank you for putting all your time and effort into making these mods and maintaining them for all these years.
I would honestly love to be able to pull off projects such as the ones you have made.
My favorite mods in particular are Astrostrein, I have always have had a weakness for pulp sci fi with time traveling Nazis and what the world would be like if they had won.
Hopefully you still continue to make Doom/Wolfestein mods these days.
"With the sound of music"
Sorry couldn't resist :P
I didn't know that the Doom engine was actually capable of this.
I would really like to see this beast in action as I mentioned in another comment section.
Not seeing it move and fight seems like a waste of such a nice looking model.
I think it would be neat if we could actually claim these weapons from fallen bosses after you have defeated them.
(Machine gun from that boss, shotgun from that guard etc)
Might be a little game breaking but I always thought that would make a good progress system to acquire certain weapons during a Metal Gear game.
I don't know how much your team will 'remake' Metal Gear as 'updating' the game to be perhaps more like Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake and Metal Gear Ghost Babel, but if you would want to put in an actual fight between the player and the TX-55 you would have my support for that decision.
I know the storyline is about preventing the Metal Gear from being finished and becoming operational but I found the actual confrontation with it a bit disappointing. (setting a series of C4 charges in sequence while avoiding laser armed cameras)
Would be a fun twist of the Metal Gear suddenly becoming active during your attempt to sabotage it, and after you have defeated it Big Boss emerging from the cockpit.
Oh that is a shame, I would have loved to help out coming up with a campaign involving most if not all of these civilizations/species in a similar way as Armada 1 and 2.
Yeah, I did have the idea that it was an 'older' class Klingon ship.
Seems like a new approach to the D7/K'tinga class starship from that era.
Out of curiosity, if you have the time and resources will you also add other major species/civilizations such as the Cardassians, the Dominion, and Species 8472, if only in multi player mode? (I don't expect a massive single player campaign with all these species)
Is that a pulsar on the background? Looks very nice.
I hope you will add more spatial phenomenon to the backgrounds.
