I put a silly screenshot of Desura Linux in a virtual machine on a Mac in the header so it wouldn't look so empty. *shrug*

The biggest problem with the Windows 8 Start Screen is that it only shows top-level folders in All Apps. explorer.exe in AppData is better.

Huh. Windows 8 explorer.exe crashed (my bad), and it looked like it was gonna throw me back into the start screen for a second. Interesting.

Now that there's a simple task manager tab in Windows 8 to disable startup items, watch for scheduled tasks popping up to work around it...

Sweet! It turns out that in PlanetSide 2, turning down Audio Channels (to 25) means I can run the game on my laptop. Strangely CPU bound.

Woo! Got a working libSDL 2 framework on Mac in XCode! Much simpler than using a Unix install. And fewer steps then SDL 1, sweet!

The only real big problems I have with Steam are the browser acting weird, and game organization. Both can almost be worked around.
