Hello, My name is Tanner. I'm a programmer, who likes to mod and build games in my spare time. You may know me as the lead developer on The Price of Freedom for Homeworld 2. I'm qualified in C++, PHP, and Java. I also have knowledge and skills in LUA and Python. I'm a big Sci-Fi fan, with my favorite works being anything Stargate, Homeworld, and of course, Firefly.

probably has a specialized event in the game type to handle that. Would be cool to do, but its not a real priority as so much as making the gameplay cooler.

Well, right now I know the engine is going to be custom built in C++. Right now I can say that its going to be a RTS/RPG remix...awesomeness will ensue.

Yeah we (by we, I mean I) dont have enough people to work on this. I took out the mothership because this isn't in the homeworld universe...and I dont like how they hampered the mothership to only construct Destroyers and Carriers...unlike the first.

The UNCG Battleship is very very powerful. More powerful than what the DSCG have. The reason I killed the balance a little, was because the battleship has to be used a specific way, and its up to you, the player, to decide how to use it without killing it. If you master that, you don't need those three battlecruisers. The DSCG however, have to have that extra support because their technology is more jury-rigged.

Open the Data Folder. Hold Shift, Right click on empty space, select Open Command Window here. Type in the black box: cd ..\bin\release <Press Enter>. Now, type: Homeworld2 -mod TPOFv2.5b.big -luatrace <press enter> and it should run.

Yeah about the Bat file...its suppose to be in the directory. The main reason for a campaign lack..is Time and resources. I don't have the time anymore to maintain and develop the mod on the scale I wanted it to. Instead of trying and letting it die, I decided to end it while its going good. I feel bad because this mod and story had a great campaign potential, but i ended it at the right time. The pdf file was written a while ago, and might need fixing...a lot. I didn't have time to go over it again, so I assumed it was still OK. but...yeah, never assume. Maybe i'll fix it one day. Thank you though :)

Homeworld 2 starts to show it's memory holes and leaks when you start taxing the engine, thats why we have to grind development down because we pushed homeworld 2 to the limits. Unfortunately it's hit and miss.
