You can play a game fluid wth 30 fps so I don't really see a problem.
I have no real Fps issues on largest unit size and full graphics.
I agree that it is one of the best mods for M&B...but
putting 1000 snake cutl guys in a castle that is hidden ,is not challenging that just frustarting and poorly balanced.And honelsty impossible unless you get an entire factions armie to help.

Ravenrock was build by the east empire trading company during the events of Bloodmoon in Morrowind.Mainly to get the mines runing.Belive me,I played that quest 10 or more times.
-I only get no income in ebonheart other mines work.
Some things I noticed withthe new patch:
-I still can't upgrade villages or small castles(Fort and Mote)
Which means that I can't get a road out of the imperial city.It's a bit anticlimatic and reduces trade.
-Ravenrock is a castle instead of a village(which would make more sense),it is also not possible to build mines there(would also make sense since it's a mining town).
-The mines in Ebonheart have no income.

Yes but balance also aplies for the player I was able to steam roll other factions so hard that it wasnt fun anymore.
Just a Bodyguard, some Haven guards,Nimrodel Rangers and every Haradrim and Mordor army is toast,add some pikes for the mainline and balance doens't exist anymore.And hey they shouldn't do so well,they are a niche faction.At best holding the line ,something Gondor sadly doesn't manages.
So is someone in the team a Dol Amroth Fanboy?Because quite a few of their units have stats that are weird considering the mod uses the RC system :For example the man at arms have an armor rating of 12!despite having the same armor as the normal gondor infantry(actualy worse at max armor upgrade).
And the other half is just plain op half of their units are elites and their normal units are better than those of other factions.I can understand numenorian ancestry ,but elvish?The lords but not the common folk.

Shouldn't it be the opposite the lower the less it affects you?
Really just makes it unnecceray hard for low humanity players.

And these western "islands" are Valinor and no they aren't accessible for mortals...the Island you mean is part of Valinor and far outside the scope of the map even if it was stil there,which it is not.
