I understand far better than most the nature of modding and certainly the team behind this is free to do whatever they like, I just find it humorous the updates to this project rarely contain any information on the mod itself.

the entire mod was just a way for us to pick up women in bars. But after a score of 419 failures, 13 prostitutes and 21 dudes, it was getting too depressing to continue.

If we got a huge influx of staff, or if our current staff somehow had tons more time, absolutely we would continue.

I held off on posting this update for a year hoping we might get lucky, but that was becoming unfair to you fine people who deserved to know the status of this project.

I'm still hopeful they'll be a DoV mod someday. Maybe in 5 years Homeworld 3 or something will be announced and we'll have the interest to try this whole thing over again.
