I don't really get it too. Lower framerate can make some unhappy things happen. Out of sync. Ai will more likely bug out, due skipping update cycles (depents how the game is written and how bad the framerate is).
I mean, I get it, if you want to field a massiv scale into Dawn of War, but then, knowing you engine have issues with it and then start to implement HR textures and other stuff is beyond me.

I think you can script a script where riders die if their mount dies. don't know for sure, but so you can... work around for vehicles.
The shooting-mechanics works only for one-shot weapons like musket, bolt-action and maybe lasguns. It doesn't for bolter and machine guns, automatic guns, because of that delay between shots. You can't really make a automatic weapon. It's more like a semi-auto weapon. And you have to click after every shot. I don't know, but I think It doesn't feel like a machine-gun or heavy bolter, if you can't pull the trigger and shred the enemy army.
Tbh Warsword don't show anything. Look at the Red wars, calradia 1923 if you really want to see how 20th century weapon looks like in M&B.
You know, IG isn't about swarming the enemy. It's about surviving. Jokes besides. It's like saying You can eat bread without butter. Just eat a tsunami of breads!
IG is about combined arms. Taking away the combined from it.. isn't so good. And it would have some serious balancing issues if you don't restrict the army sizes of faction or work around. You can't be faithful to the lore if you just use men to protect the empire..
I don't think m&b have a good engine for wh40. Vehicles and aircraft will be a issue. Then you have to restrict the army size of space marines very low if they should be strong as describted in lore. shooting mechanics in this game isn't really good too for that.
I don't know. I thought a lot of it over the past years. I like to see that as M&B Mod but I don't think it would work well.

Imperium without vehicles isn't really great for instance.
I think its an issue with my Graphic card. Some game works fine with borderless windows others not. I just hope you had a good idea to improve it.
I got a crash and a stuck on loading screen, but after that It seems to run fine.
depends on the area. 30-60. With "onetweak" it drops to 20-25 all time.

With "onetweak" I have ten fps less than without.

2.0 something you made up. If this mod is really 2.0, it wouldn't be in beta. 1.0 menas the game is finished. 2.0 tells something like an overhaul or something like that.

To be fair: If they tell us a date and can't keep the promise again the shitstorm and disappointment would be much greater than now.
They were wrong and needed more time. Again and Again. Now It's just better to tell "when it's done" than giving us a release date again and some problems appears so the mod needs more time to be finish/in a playable state
you're great example, how fast everything have to be nowadays. People are loosing patience, but complaining about titles, which was rushed out and have bugs overall.

stay away and shoot with your arti at it until it breaks (it takes a while) and charge with meele the units that leave the bunker. It seems soldiers of bunker are immune against rifles ammunition...
Since you are playing at ww1 you should have a lot arti anyway

Can you tell me which maps works fine with the AI (fine in matter of less buggy AI) ?
Hm.. I ran into a strange issue, where AI bug out and does nothing until they got attacked for a while. Then they start to work as intended.
It seems the AI have proplems with small spaces too. They build their buildings in a way, where units spawn in a corner and stick there.
Maybe The AI bug out, If they don't have the space to build as intended and too many error break them.
I'll try playing on bigger map. Maybe that solves the issue.
I watch my replays anyway.I watch the slaughter and have fun :|. So I can take a better look at the AI.
Maybe It's a known issues and wasting my time right now
