I'm really not a huge sci-fi fan either, though I do like it. I just feel StarCraft plays better. Which is good, because it's newer. AoE2 rocked my world though. Pity about AoEIII.:(
StarCraft is AOE evolved.
*sheepish* Yeah, kinda. I like my sci-fi, but it's the gameplay that counts, really. StarCraft just kills other RTSs in form of polish and playability, XCOM just kicks arse, Deus Ex wins of obvious reasons, so does Half-Life and all those other damn sci-fi games I likes.
