Actually time is all relative, But if we had more time i could explain everything to you.
forever never comes around.
These thoughts, like a trillion prayers, are repeated across an ocean of worlds, many cut short, none answered.
space game is on the backburner till we got the land game part all sorted, as that is needed for the space part. however several of the old fighters have gotten a brand new upgraded model + tex ( Affuniverse.com )
dont need to for the UDK showcase version, just download and install no need for other stuff. tho the UT3 ( RC8 ) version has more maps
quite possibly, we'll see
the old mod version does ( RC8 ), the UDK showcase/demo doesnt. the new screens are from the commercial build were working of (neither of those).
so no it doesnt need UT3 perse
technically a few short stories turned into a universe turned into a HW2 mod turned into a indie UDK game.. and still going
the city map perhaps, but dont tell me you think errah looks tokyo punk to you ( Moddb.com )
or all space ships/maps for that matter
of coarse! but we're first focusing on the land map part of the game as it is necessary for the space game...
the space battles will be completely reworked aswell.
yea me too
made by IPS i assume?
nah its just a random dude, i lol at how many ask that... :P
we should totally have smth like this with pictures of the dev team members :3
yay HW2: PTV FTW
Homeworld 2 never dies!
cant help it, we'd like that all our effort also pays for smth, like everyone else.
eventhough money has never been our main motivator.
yes, more bugs :P
all released stuff obviously is free, but the next release is commercial, so no.
yes, we'll be selling it via steam at least.
its not the exact same name, this is our other project.
(Angels Fall First: Planetstorm vs Angels Fall First: The Second Antarean War or AFF:PS vs AFF:2AW )
we're deep in production right now, keeping to ourselves mostly.
what where working on right now includes:
- several brand new map concepts, to be made into a singleplayer campaign as well as for multiplayer ( Affuniverse.com )
- a new working HUD ( Affuniverse.com )
- more fps weapons ( Affuniverse.com )
- making mechs, both art and code ( Affuniverse.com )
- upgrading our art to better next gen standards ( Affuniverse.com )
- coding a new system for bots
- new and better animations and matinee sequences ( Youtube.com )
we'll have to see about the consoles, PC certainly before any consoles...
We will, the showcase was kinda quickly done so we didn't have time for more options/features. tho to be honest not many ever use inverted mouse...
we are making it a standalone game, atleast via steam available, *possibly* on consoles too, but only if it isnt too much trouble to do...
stranj, our art director, is the best :3
we do have a lot planned for this year :D
i rather like how you can view the stats on moddb of any mod/indie
short answer is no.
long answer, its a LOT of work to succesfully port something like this to consoles. besides PCs simply are more powerfull, has more players and haS better controls....
we're working on the full game of PS, there will be many more maps and weapons, no worries about that :D
this style reminds me of TF2... nice
completely agree with Pouk, sad about the low colour depth :[
******* cool model! reminds me a bit of the star wars EP1 invasion
thats already in actually... :D
lol very nice
looking really nice,
tho the name "cafferty" reminds me too much of caffeine... (mb thats just me ;)
thx, this will keep our egos going for awhile again :D
treeform has been busy with rl stuff, moving and finding a new job among things... so when its done :\
