Ignore him Grega, he's obviously trolling.

I'm pretty sure he's trolling you, Grega.

If not, then I don't know what to say. Nothing shown here is fake or photoshoped. The ESF team has released 8 different versions of ESF in the past(counting the open betas as one release), why would they start faking content now? A little patience will go a long way, it'll be worth it.

It's always going to be a half-life 1 mod. Would be nice for them to make an independent game after their done with esf, though

@Dragon: ESF is not being released on the same day as NNK, he was just saying it would be nice.

As far as I know, NNK uses bsp's / the regular half-life map format.

It's not a rumor, one of the coders have said that the specs will be higher.

As for 8100 x 8100 lagging, it depends on your system. I get pretty good fps

You only see the map boundary up close and considering how big the maps now are, you won't be seeing it much. It's much better then running into invisible walls

It's been suggested a lot, but it's not really possible to do it on the half-life engine in a way that looks good and doesn't cause a hit in performance.

It's pretty crazy that this actually came out, when it got the C&D I had thought that this would never see the light of day.

If you carry through with the plans to make your own models and animations, good for you guys, but you shouldn't get mad when people accuse you of stealing **** that you admit yourselves that you stole.

All you would have had to say in previous updates is that the models and animations from ESF were placeholders and that you're going to be making your own models, but you made no mention of where the models and animations in previous updates were from, hence the stealing comments.

Honestly, at this point, I'd just wait until the game is done. There aren't that many players left playing 1.2.3, and those that are still playing are ridiculously godlike.

Speaking of ESF, it looks like most of the models and even some maps for this mod are rips of models or maps made for ESF. Hate to be the bearer of bad news.

You guys do realize that, since they've revealed the mod, they've done one update every week. It's hard coming up with original things to say in a news post every week, so no, it doesn't mean that this is a bad sign
