Oh I know how to solve this problem, first uninstall windows 7 64bit and then I want you to try to install something called windows XP -- which also has a 64bit version.

Excellent, but because you are doing a one-bullet-at-a-time approach what about a shotgun style reload where it wont fill the whole clip unless the reload button is held. That way under a tense situation the player will have the option to reload only one or two shots.
