I love the worn-down GLA-esq look x)
But seriously, the abuse these tanks are taking and withstanding is interesting to see.
You know, I like this new emblem. Nice wall paper too.
As much as I love soviet tech, how will panthers stand up against a T-54? o_O There is a huge gap.
Same as the AK
#8 reminds me of a T-44
Check the second image, there is no place for the gun, and the "holes" are view ports, (the lower space, I'm not sure, but it seems small enough not to be a huge problem, I'm not aware of its mechanical purpose.
I don't get all the negativity, if its about having a shield protecting the back and sides (blind spot) of the gunner? Having the plate upfront where you can aim and shoot at isn't as good as having protection from the back, who's going to engage a tank upfront?
It would make sense if the unarmored tesla dome would be red, but I believe its yellow for balance. (This is still a game)
Mines are going to be devastating!
Not quite, its just that the door is less armored than the rest of the tank.
I'd like to see what the PL-01 can actually do. I can't take that tank seriously at the moment =|
It looks like something out of sci-fi movies, except it probably doesn't use energy weapons.
Oh, this is gorgeous! I would love to have this for the GLA in Gen-2.
I have a thing for "improvised" war-machines.
Woohoo! The original Tiberian Dawn like flametank design ! :D
Likewise the minigun/disruptor teams look fun!
The continued lore is also interesting, however will there be any upcoming lore which portrays the U.S. in a bad light though, or will they be saints in the world of Generals?
Its just a Patton with a mine plow, its still easy picking for anti-tank projectiles =P
Fun fact, Germans never kept captured crew of these things alive.
Looks like an M48 tank hull, with a make shift box turret. Its alright, but they could have at least painted it with APA colors, or somehow made it cleaner looking.
I guess its not a big deal, and props for getting something like that over.
Typical, the United States military destroys the evil technologically inept and oblivious Russians with no effort at all.
I love the lore, and I understand that this is a plausible event, but I am really sick of this sickening cliche, used in countless literature, film and game sources.
Never the less, it was good to see another update and I love the Shilka addition.
Your mind is weak.
Now... Look deeply into my eyes.
Wow, that's an awesome shot :O
The tank looks gorgeous!
I got the reference :D
MBT-2000, AKA Al-Khalid tank. (Not to be confused with Jordan's "Khalid" tank which is essentially a Challenger 1.)
Yikes, that thing is totaled. Any context on what happened here? Whatever hit it was incredibly destructive.
I've been to Lebanon, their entire arsenal mostly consists of Vietnam war era weaponry.
I didn't see anything better than M113s, Huey helicopters and M60 Pattons in their arsenal neither in person nor in the media. And mind you from the ones that I've seen, non of them have any kind of modification/modernization what so ever.
Its cramped inside for average sized people. But they have a size requirement for tankers.
Ey, no need to apologize I know how it goes x)
Hey, I get the references. =D
I like how beaten up this tank looks, and still running.
ineffective or not, these tanks can really take anti-tank missiles.
Kudos Fellas! Nice work. =D
My money is on it being a Centurion.
