Bug with mission where I am suppose to bring 2 suits, 2 helmets and some heavy case. I have it all in backpack but the mission doesn't update when I talk to NPC, no dialog

and pump station forward trader

i finally got a solution

okay guys follow this step by step instruction to fix this annoying crash

it involves extracting the video file which causes the crash to a game data folder (you know a mod folder in the lost alpha main directory)

1st : download the s.t.a.l.k.e.r file unpacker from this link

2nd go to your lost alpha main directory

3rd create this folder structure in the lost alpha main folder: gamedata-> textures->prop->

4th open the stalker file unpacker and start unpacking the gamedata files to a separate folder (anywhere you want)

5th keep extracting until you got the file ----->prop_pult5.avi<----- (sorry i didnt pay attention where it was it was either in the three first or the four last gamedata files)

6th as soon as you've got this file copy the "prop" folder and replace it with the one you have created in your gamedata directory (in the lost alpha main folder as in step 3)

this little workaround fixed the game for me and it should to the same for you
