My installer gets stuck on 33% (with no progress on the download bar) and immediately after the program will stop responding. It definitely isn't my PC because I've download more intensive stuff than an Attila mod so I really don't know what to do
lmao that moment they reuse Viserys' wig for Rhaegar
Tbh they look practically the same without the visor.
Did a mock match with Lannisters vs Dothraki on that field of fire map someone posted here a few days ago, so I thought I'd share some images here of it here.
I tried to emulate haziness/darkness of smoke with editing, so that's why the images are dark.
they're overhauling it, everything Tarly was made from the season 6 unit types
Someone made a Hardhome map Steamcommunity.com
you gon get rekt
Or letting the writers pull a George lucas.
i wonder how many employees are getting the can after the accidental leak of episode 6 lol what a mess
Daenerys is probably the shittest character tbh. Subjective, yes, but an unjust remark? Nahhhh
Gastric acid treatment?
Also I'd like to suggest the whispering wood as a scenario battle. I found a video that provides the full background of it and a visual representation of the overhead map.
I believe once polishing and balancing is completed, it could be made into a balanced scenario with the outcome being determined by strategy.
I would 100 percent be fine with Stark soldiers shouting FOR ROME in Spain if it means that we did get some kind of campaign. I'm no modder and I won't pretend that I a could do better, because I couldn't. What I do know is; people don't want a campaign just so they can hear Stark men shout "the King in the North!" (that would be cool of course). They just want to have the feel of leading a Rebellion against the Lannisters or defending the map from Wildling hordes, and feel the consequences if they lose.
Any campaign would do justice even if it's the best that you can do, with bugs and all, and if people complain? Well they can go back to play custom battles like they were before. You don't know if you don't try. I mean even if it's the very last thing you guys attempt to do once every unit and faction is 100 percent polished and you all agree that it is finished, if you have an itch to attempt to create a campaign on the Europe map, the fans will accept it either way. I know I will. If you have already tried, try harder. I guess it's easy for me to say when I'm not the one actually making this mod, especially when the mod is for free.
I'll play this mod regardless as I have anticipated it when the mods were initially announced, but I haven't spoken about the campaign since the first time it was mentioned by the development team. So I thought I speak about it since it was brought up again.
On a side note, do people still ask for Daenarys? She rides dragons into battle, not horses. She's not different from a pen pusher behind a desk. She's just her own key to the nukes she brought to life.
And I was going to ask if it can be possible to give Tywin his personalised Lannister helmet he wore at the battle of the greenfork. I think it looks bad *** especially when he has the face protectors open. I think it'd look cool because his helmet has the lordly look and is the only commander so far, to be seen with a helmet on.
How do you get banner carriers?
Honestly considering you've earnt it, just try and use the cheatmenu
Also, is there a Red Wedding quest you can do? Or can you turn the boltons against the starks?
Oh yeah I forgot about the cheat menu cheers for that mate haha
Is that for sure or speculation? I'm kinda allied with the North so I don't want to siege them
Also will horses be rescaled? Most of them are donkey sized.
Is there a way to get bolton soldiers?
So are all Lannister soldiers.
In regards to the PFM, there aren't tutorials that I can find that tell you how to create new units. Unfortunately the tutorial you provided is mostly about modifying the looks of existing units. So I'm not sure on where to start. Tutorials that I do find are using the Assembly Kit :/
What if I wanted to make it an entirely new house? I don't want to accidentally ruin the Lannister forces. I did read through the page but it seems to be more focused on Warhammer and I'm assuming (since Attila's tools are a joke) that the Warhammer tools operate differently?
Hey do you guys know of any tutorials in regards to modelling and porting to Attila? I wouldn't mind making my own House Reyne faction, problem is, I don't even know where to start with it.
*Edit* Mostly just want to change the colour of Lannister soldiers to Reyne colours and make a separate faction.
Yeah it's the first thing I did. Though the crashing started after I downloaded and installed these drivers. I think it's just hardware aging, you can never be too sure with these things until you've spent money on the wrong thing.
Yeah... it's a damn shame.. then again my RAM is about 3 and a half years old, and my graphics card 2 and a half. Meh, I think it's time I upgraded from the ancient 750 ti to a 1060. I've been having screen freezes lately but you can never be sure. I might invest into some RAM as well.
Well the current version of the mod runs perfectly for what my PC can actually do, this whole crashing business started, ironically, when I downloaded new drivers. But software problems =/= hardware so I'm going have to change a lot. Thanks for the input.
Forums and google can't help me. However my game has been crashing a lot during mid battles. I'm convinced that it is my graphics card that is the problem, but, before I spend any money I'd prefer to ask around first to see what people think.
It also doesn't depend on the size of the battle. I had a general vs general and it still crashed.
I have another question. Recently dead cavalry men will float in the air in the cavarly "stance position: as if they're still on their horse,is there a way to fix this? Or is it another attila bug?
"The Rains weep o'er Gamersville101 page, with not a soul to view.."
Damn that's harsh, I've had some pretty fun battles. Good job to CA for abandoning everything on Attila to work on Warhammer. Their historical dev team aren't even working on fixing anything, they're just pushing more DLC out the door for it.
