Description

Around 12 o'clock, on the 4th May 1999, a big group of NATO aircrafts was detected which were engaging the military warehouses and ammo factory "Krushik" in village Prichevich, in the direction of city Valjevo. The order for immediate take off was given to the one of younger pilots, but Lt. Colonel Pavlovich asked, on the phone, to hold back the pilot, and he will take off instead of him in his MiG-29. Shortly, he was over the city of Valjevo, but his AC generator went of, and he lost the radar. Anyway, he joined the unequal fight, and shortly, in 12:35 hours, was hit by three rockets. He died in the air. His last words were "They've got me!". The remnants of his aircraft fell near the village of Petnitza.
