Now that's putting your life at stake in order to save the children.
It takes a man to do that.

Description

One of the Serbia's best pilot, Major Goran Savic, has died last week in the air accident. During the test of the Serbian new plane "B-54 Lasta(Swallow)", according to his co-pilot, Lt. Colonel Tomislav Becagovic, all of the controls stopped working. During the fall, co-pilot ejected himself, while the Major Savic was trying to save the plane from it's fall on the near kindergarten. His plane was crushed in the garden near a house, about ten meters away from the factory of paints and varnishes "Vitex". He also ejected himself, but it was too late. He died on the Military-Medicine Academy due to his wounds. No one on the ground was hurt. Sacrificing his life he saved the lives of the children, and not only them: If the plane was crushed on the factory, the whole Nova Pazova (town) would be devastated.

Mj. Goran Savic was posthumously awarded by the president of Serbia with the "Award of Milos Obilic", for showing the extraordinary heroism and giving his life to save the citizens of Serbia. He left behind his wife and two kids.
