Zdravo to everyone and welcome to my page! My nickname here is SRB-HawkEye-. Not much history behind it, I picked it randomly and I liked it. About me: I live in the greatest country on Balkan- Serbia, a beautiful country with rich history! I'm student and I'm studying about computers, robotics and electronics - I'm on a department that actually includes all of those courses. I have several hobbies, but history, languages and games are the hobbies that I enjoy really much. It really gets me relaxed and, BTW, I'm not a geek! :) About modding, after three years on this site I have learn so much about this sphere of gaming. I specialized myself in making camouflage textures. I made a small collection which I am keeping in my personal group called SRB-HawkEye-'s Mental Store. Unfortunately, I haven't started to work on any of the projects, although I have loads of great ideas. Well, where to start...Althought you see "polished and ready" vehicles, this system is very old. Ex-Yugoslavia in past (and better times) bought many of those systems, but after war on Balkan 1991-1995, Serbia rarely bought something new. This system is only modernised (better vehicle, rocket range upgraded, radar upgraded). Our country is poor, and we don't have money to buy new anti-aircraft system, so we keep modernising them. In 2010, Serbian Military Industry made almost billion dollars, but all that money goes somewhere else (other industries, gas, electricity) instead of Army budget.
So, Serbia doesn't spend too much money on the Army, but all those pictures you see, are only part of commercial and future of Serbian Army. Also, all those cool weapons and uniforms are weared by Special Forces... Well there is more to tell but, I will post this on blog so you can read all about Serbian economy and Military industry.

Yeah, but our country is not poor, there is money to finance a strong and well equipped army, but f*cking government keeps sucking money, which brought most of us to the edge of material existence. That's how bad it is...

Well, I forgot to mention that our goverment is formed by tieves and retards that likes to drive BMW's and Mercedes that cost half million dollars while their people starve to death and watching the fall of our land. Such a sad thing...
But, anyway, our army have enough money to fight for existance in case of war with "friendly" neighbours...

I will agree with you totaly. As for the modernizing older units i know that cause in greece we do the same.Ok we own some new systems but we keep modernize the old ones. Btw,i believe that serbia has the undoubtalbe excuse to make her arsenal bigger and bigger where you are surrounded by nations who just want to "devour" you. Maybe not all of them now,but in the past serbia had some fights with...you know whom. As i remember, bulgarians, croatians, bosnians,albanians...need to say more???

look at greeks, I think they serve military obligation about 18 months, and they are in NATO, and look us! our strategic military position on balkan need more men, but, becouse we are under the ocupation of west secret services, and this marionet govermant, our military is the pour fade, how we once were. But still we can give some destruction to anyone who oposes our country. that is Serbian military genetic :)
