Looking up that error, seems to be an issue with using Windows XP. I'd recommend Windows 7 (at least)
Righty, there are two things to try. First, make sure you're not running it through Steam; just run the exe file. Second, create a shortcut to set the CPU affinity.
"Strange bug". Could you be a little more specific as to what is going wrong? I can then try and do bug squishing :)
Hello there, apologies for the delay.
Install CFCS Release 7 Full Version, then the patch, then the hotfix. :)
For those having trouble getting the game to run, it's come to my attention it may be a run time issue. I suggest installing the following;
Sounds like a hardware issue on your end, as others (including myself) run it without issue.
Then if you have more issues with it than with the regular sounds, stick to them.
Also, if you are running this through Steam, do not. It causes endless issues. Just run it from the exe (and make sure you are using the modified exe and dlls I provided)
Give the simplified sound pack a try
I have had this report. I haven't been able to reproduce it but it's possible that a case sensitive line in the chapter script was to blame. Patch 7 should fix it.
Sorry I am not sure what you're trying to say
Have you installed the most up to date patch, and made sure you're using the replacement exes/dlls ?
That's odd. Should work fine.
The cheats are the same as the base game, but using the Stalingrad "password"
@Password( "www.dtf.ru" )
No problem :) the new exes and dlls help but, it still struggles sometimes. Old game is still old game.
Try running it in Compatibility mode (Windows XP SP 3)
Sorry about that, now try.

I can't explain why it would want that. I haven't altered anything anything to do with CD checks or anything (wouldn't know how)
This is not a mod for Klingon Academy though. It's based on the ships, stations, environment etc and storyline of that game but put into an RTS environment.
This is a mod for FleetOps. You have to install it in your FleetOps/Mod directory, then activate it through the mods menu
Interesting. How do I go about removing it?
As I said, using the launcher for me just produces error messages
If I ever get my saves back (or at least make it so I CAN save in the future) I'll try that.
Also speaking of landing zones, sometimes it decides to drop my AT-PTs as my first unit on maps with many, small landing zones. I ergo cannot capture any more landing zones to drop anything else. Sort of makes the map unbeatable. Any idea how to stop this happening?
Attempting to use the launcher just does this.
Also, attempting to use the launcher just gives me an error.
What I find baffling though is that, well i'd understand it if one save game corrupted. Just a bad save. It happens. But it's ALL save games. I wonder how and why it's doing that?
