Just in case, you had some ideas that didn't make it in a mod yet:
What would you like to see in a mod?
The mod hasn't added the new faction yet.
It is playable, although the GUI doesn't seem to support three or more factions yet.
I have been a little busy lately so I didn't care much about proceeding in the mod's development.
The changes the mod makes right about now are more to be seen ingame, I didn't change the main Menu.
If you like to, you may download a really buggy Alpha of Version 3.0 that I uploaded on Strategyinformer.

since new ground units are almost three times dificultier than space units...
So for example, for a simple Soldier you have to make a model, an animation for walking, an animation for shooting and an animation for dying. Furthermore you have to (in most cases) make some "footprints for Soldiers and vehicles. Another point is that most people play the game for the Space skirmishes and most people I asked meant that the land skirmish would be lame or annoying...
So I think these are the reasons...
Might be wrong, but if one asked me, I would answer this...
right now....it's like in 3.0 alpha...but I'm overthinking it since of the lack of ships for the Tau'ri...
I think I'll make both...if I find the time to do so...
I just don't like the thought of having only 3-6 ships for a whole faction...^^

Where, or better, how do I install new maps/mods for SupCom2?
have you installed other mods?
Maybe you had installed a mod that was installed by changing GameFiles.
You can check whether you had or not by opening EAW\GameData\Data\XML.
If you don't have this Folder (XML\) or if it is empty, that's not the part that doesn't work. I haven't seen the Steam-EAW so long but I hope it's built the same way as the Retail.
I want it to make the game both, more strategic and more based on action.

in 3.0 Tau'ri will be playable fully, that's why the 3.0 isn't released yet, they have no ability to build at their Spacestation.

Yeah, there was already an RAM Fix, but doesn't change the GameDatas(It only adds a file), so it's a mod itself.
For me it changed Gameversion, I couldn't more play with friends.
So I designed that RAM fix(that changes the Original files), so that I have the same version as un"fixed" FoC-Versions.
The mod is in German.
Later it could probably be in English too, but that' ll dure some time.
I think a pricing of 50 is low enough for the TIEs, isn't it?
Furthermore it is not planned to make X-Wing Protonentorpedoes, but it's a great idea.

it's fascinating simple: Take the Stargate-Mod folder, go to the Folder "data" and copy the folder inside that folder to your EAW\GameData\Data Folder. Then restart the editor.
works so far, but I don't have anyone to test MP so I can be sure that the version had not been changed in any kind.
I think I found a fix for Empire at War : Forces of Corruption.
It now works for me on Windows 7 in MP with 5 GB RAM, I use a 64-bit system.
But I still have to test it.
First of all, thanks for Feedabck, that's imprtant to me to make next version better.
1. The freeze is just a ask of seconds to minutes. With me, it's never taken more than 15 seconds.
2. At my PC, I can select all three factions, no idea why it don't show up to you. Could be since I already work on next version, maybe it' ll work to you then too. (Hope so)
3.Which Music do you mean? the music in the Main Menu?
Or the Music in the Loading-Screen?
Since there's no music for the Tau'ri yet in Skirmish.
If you mean the Main_menu Music, there should be under GameData\Mods\Fight_for_Freedom\Data\Audio\Music a file called Imperial March.mp3. Delete it and you've got back the Star-Wars Imperial Theme.
If it's the Laoding screen, it should be fixed by deleting Battle_Pending_1.mp3. If you have any ideas for better backgroundmusic I'm happy about someone who tells me a good one, since I have a "kinda random" sense of Music.

if I have enough time to, I'll at all case make ground units avayable for Tau'ri. Shuldn't be too difficult since I got the models of Stargate-Empiore at War. All Models that contain any Stargate based content are (C) MGM for the ideas and (C) Stargate-Modding-Group for the Models.

download FRAPS, with this you can take pictures that are exactly the size of your screen.
try to install as administrator and if it doesn't work, under compatibility mode.
The MC would be a hard enemy, but if you can avoid it as imperial leader to be in a close combat, you'd destroy he MC before it could harm you.
MCs have stronger Weapons, but they have a shorter range.
And: they got stronger Shields, but their Systems are more fragile
which Stardestroyer and which MonCal do you mean? There are two Versions of both. I would suggest that you wait with downloading, since I now have a smaller version with more Content.
1. ties are weaker than X-Wings and A-Wings.
AAAnd: X-Wings got proton torpedoes now!
2. yeah, the German "Gespenster"-squadron [ english Wraith-squadron]
is quite surely implented, but it'll only be a squadron TIEs which is stronger than X-wing squadron, since they're a squadron which often flew in stolen TIEs, which means they got the TIEs the empire uses...
3. Uglies or bastards, nevermind, uglies won't be in the next two o three modversions, but MAYBE after.
and the SDs can shoot over a long range, while MCs can't
