You cannot simply say that interventionism is right or wrong. You've got to take it on a case-by-case basis. Otherwise, you risk simplifying the issue too much. So, I'm ok with eastern European nations joining NATO; they're joining, not being forced to join by occupying forces. Yugoslavia was a load of batsh*t that needed cleaning up as well. I don't want to comment much on the others due to a lack of knowledge/time/can't be bothered.

By making yourself a victim of something, be it the fictional patriarchy of feminazis or so called 'ableism', you** can claim that you are being marginalised by society, forcing it to allow people like you (whiny, over-liberal, everyone is a victim, other-kin, head mate endowed, feminazi) to get their foot in the doorway of important positions, thanks to the over-PC environment we have today, which perpetuates the cycle of victimisation as we now have people in important positions spouting these ideas.

Sargon of Akkad's somewhat tinfoily video on Digra is a fairly good example of this in action.

To add insult to injury, after gaining independence, the Russians demand several billion dollars to pay for 'infrastructure'. In particular, military bases that are deemed 'below the minimum requirements for human use' and that have been described as worse than those in Nigeria. This alternate source of leadership would teach that a God(s) are a power above the dictator which threatens the system as people would fear hell more than the firing squad.
