This group is for people who have no belief in god(s). You appear to be a muslim, so you likely wouldn't enjoy this group since we're critical of religion. I would direct you to the 'I love Islam' page or the 'Unity of Beliefs' page for groups that you would likely prefer. Though the 'Unity of Beliefs' group has been quiet for some time.

Thanks for your answers. They helped me to understand what you meant better. I didn't really think about being worried about other people's reactions over your beliefs. Here in Britain, nobody really cares about your religion.

On a serious note; I like Hitchens for his blunt way of doing things while I like Dawkins because I'm also into Biology so I like to hear his input in the subject.

I'm agnostic too, I don't know beyond any reasonable doubt whether there is or isn't any god(s). However, I'm an atheist as I don't believe that there is any god(s).

How about you? You don't have to respond, I just though I should throw a conversation starter/thought provoker out there for anyone interested.

There's actually a good case to be made for it not being the case in the Roman Empire. The book generally outlines the differences between those persecuted for being christian and christians who were persecuted. It also covers some of the embellishments and exaggerations and compares martyrdom stories from Christianity with other religions to identify similarities and differences.
