I love the Battlefield series and the Half-Life series.
That's alot of repeating textures
Worth the weight.
Reminds me of the beginning of Doom 3 with the mechanical bridge
Luckily I bought SRT3 during last summer's sale.
Other dev's should take note on this (like DICE).
Has the progress of the mod changed since HL2/episodes have been ported to steam pipe?
I'm surprised Goldsrc can even handle 5 poseable fingers, not to mention Cry Engine 3 type water effects.
Reminds me of the new Tomb Raider, this is a good thing.
Cool, compound bow. Will it have fire arrows like in TR?
I wonder if it conducts lightning!
Are you going with the Alyx pictured from the banner or your going to make the Alyx with the catsuit (seen in E3 trailers with the Hydra)?
Just like the HL2 Mac update?
My only critique (if I may), is that the maps could use better lighting/shadowing. But I know Hammer/Source 2009 lighting sucks the big one and can be VERY trying to work with to make it look right for todays standards.
Anyways, I look forward to watching this mod more.
This version CTD when I try to launch it, it did not do this in the previous version Estranged Alpha #4.
A valvetime.nets mod, eh? Awesome!
That water looks like its from Cry Engine, holy ****. This DBZ mod truly looks like a next gen game.
Sexy displacement mapping and volumetric lighting!
2 and 7
Uh, a bad a review? They gave the mod a thumbs up and a recommendation.
Oh wow, so many fan boys. As a long time member of VT.net. This review is spot on.
Looks very promising, tracking.
What branch of the Source engine will this be using?
I wonder if those trees have jigglebones in them (sway effect) like in CSGO. That would be really cool.
Seems like a very ambitious mod, all Alyx back story mods tend to never make it past conceptual stages. I hope this mod doesn't die, it would be really cool to play as Alyx. :)
Is that shadows on view models? In the SOURCE ENGINE?!
I've been having the exact same problem, as well.
The lighting is coming along nicely. I still can't believe there's global radiosity. Even on view models.
