I had been looking forward to playing this mod for quite some time, and I too was a little disappointed by it's overall quality. Don't get me wrong, it was fun and had some interesting partitions; however other parts poorly designed. It's worth a run through, and is still fun to play. For only one mapper, it's a very good attempt.
I don't know much about mods, or intelligence, but I do know a little something about awesome sauce. And that's exactly what this mod is! Because it was my first mod I've ever played I thoroughly enjoyed it. From the boring texture placement, to the blocky squares littering the unoptimized maps. Anyways, this mod is the bestest, so download it today!
