I've played many mods this year, but what I would class as the best isn't at ModDB. One of the best mods I have played, howvere, has to be R&D. Puzzles, no blazing of guns, yet it's fun and keeps you glued.
I'll have to take a closer look before I make my decision though :)
Will be good this year :)
Women? In spandexy lycra stuff?
When is this mod released?
It's like a cloud of cuteness.
Ahhh, so that's what that big blob under Europe was...
Give him a lick, mmmm tastes just like raisins.
A promotional poster to promote a delayed trailer which spawned a promotional video. Phew.
I love the music :)
SAMP is very buggy, but has a large following. MTA is a lot mor polished and refined. Scripters I knew preferred SAMP for some reason though.
Was speaking to one of the devs, Beta 2 should be awesome :)
What an awesome mod! I actually enjoy this more than Neotokyo. Weapons and mas are great. The scopes are a tad annoying though as there is a slight period where you cannot fire when you enter the scope.
It's awesome fun. Will recommend this to friends for sure.
Awesome. Pacific theatre? About time someone looked away from Europe :)
Release date needs to be changed :P
You can say that again. Can't wait for more on this, I like the whole Space Marines style backdrop to it. Some good ol' alien blasting.
In a way, that's a good thing. The mod is of such high quality that they think it's an offical Valve effort. Still, would be nice if they got credit where credit was due.
It was said on the forum that they want to release the mod before the end of 2009 and are trying to. If there will be a delay or alteration to the date, it will be announced. So please, no more "it's never coming" posts.
That is the single most awesome thing I have seen on this site, no, this interweb!
The model is fantastic, the time travel thing works great. Big kudos to you my man! :)
You just know that you'll need a supercomputer and a half to get results like that.
Reinstalled the mod, seems to work now. It's great, but a bit unstable. Got a bluescreen while playing it :/
*Sigh* getting this Bugtrap error everytime I start the game. Running on Windows 7, and have drivers (sound, graphics) fully updated, STALKER at 1.0006 and it happnes.
I tried deleting localisation.ltx. Same thing.
The game itself works, but with the mod it's a no-go.
Looking righteous :)
One of my favourites too. Shnazzy model :)
It's not a mod. Don't say that on the forums or Ronan will flip his lid :)
It's a full game.
Now HOPEFULLY this game will not require a supercomputer to run. I know that's a silly thing to say, but surely they could optimise it to an extent that it will run as good if not better than CryENGINE 2. For example, ArmA2. Looks better, and plays as good as ArmA1.
Varsity speaks the truth. The foreground is pretty lackluster.
I see the pixelated grass in the background, the tree texture and the blood/bump map issues. Good eye, Ninjadave.
But frankly, this still looks the business :)
Arthmesic made a good point. This is a fantastically atmospheric mod, on par with STALKER, but the heavy metal spoiled it somewhat.
Interstate '76 much? :P Looks awesome, I might buy this game now :)
Looks great, but in the background, the hills seem a lot smaller than the original :P
But the mod (and many other mods) use HL2 assets anyway. Cut the guy some slack.
Is it Oxi action? To get all that blood off the carpet?
Didn't the British use the Thompson 1928 (with compensator) rather than the M1A1 Thompson?
Wow. Was looking for a WWII mod for Crysis. Tracking this :)
Just... Awesome. Fightin' the troubles with turtle shells and bananas is how it should always have been.
The music in this game has me hooked. Keep up the good work :D
Bill Murray wearing a mop :)
