I think I can produce some English from those statements. The Hiigarans were elected to be the heads of a new galactic council after the Vaygr were creamed. The Council's purpose was to be an inter-empire mediator, preventing conflict and settling disputes peacefully. The artifact, the Eye of Aaran, was found and the council and the Hiigarans led the way in researching it and finding out what it did. When it was discovered that it lead to a network of really, really big hyperspace gates to all areas of the galaxy, the Hiigarans got greedy and decided to keep it all for themselves. Some members of the council sided with the Hiigarans and said the Hiigarans should have the artifact and whatnot. The few dissenters were ignored by the now arrogant and corrupt Hiigaran Empire as insignificant. Some council members left because the council was now under the direct control of the Hiigaran leadership and did little more than the Hiigaran Empire's bidding. Some of the Hiigaran Kiith (clans) decided to leave the Empire because they felt what it was doing was wrong and they needed to be stopped fro the good of everyone. Now, the galaxy is divided and at war once again with the Hiigaran Empire and the Galactic Council on one side and the Resistance forces on the other, one side fighting for power, one side fighting for freedom.

If you are going to be saying you are inspired by Appleseed, you need the Landmates! Landmates make Appleseed Appleseed. I personally would love a game type involving only Landmates and the Absentis and Order counterparts. This is assuming Vamin will have an actual Landmate, it being the most technologically advanced faction.

A book mod for Halo would be very hard and seriously require almost a completely different game. In the books, the Chief is faster, stronger, and just better than in the game. Also, the whole super-strength thing where he can flip over a tank yet have serious recoil problems really gets me. And the Covenant, one of their favorite tactics in the books is the infamous "Grunt Spam". Suicidal Grunt charges to deplete the enemy of ammo, and then the Elite's come in and mop the floor with the exhausted survivors. And by spam, I mean the Grunts will be climbing over piles of their own dead to get to you.

We all want it, and a public release would definitely increase appeal for this mod and UAW as it would be the only real mod currently released for UAW (the Novus/Hierarchy color swap mod doesn't really count as a full-fledged mod to me), and UAW needs mods.

This mod sucks out the most out of all Freelancer mods out there. When I activate it in the Freelancer Mod Manager (which is how this is used), it works fine. When I deactivate it though, it throws a bunch of errors at me and says there were problems deactivating mod and tells me to restore backups, which I do. And guess what, after all that, I can't even reactivate Crossfire without reinstalling Freelancer! What is up with this? Is this purposeful to give people no alternative?

Are you going to try to include it somehow? When the mod tools are released (sometime in the year 2550) it should be fairly easy to create that ability.

Hey elvenfury I hope you don't mind this idea. If it is possible, a great unit ability for the Marine Rifleman squad is the ability "Spray 'n' Pray!". It's perfect, and actually useful. Its targeted like Woolard's Bombardment and the squad all aims at an area, switches to full auto and just sprays and prays. Good against Grunts due to size and Ohms due to numbers. Well, its good against any infantry they can't beat 1v1, and Ohms. Besides, spraying and praying is so human.

I sooo want to annihilate the Covenant without having to play a Halo game (Hurry up you modders for Homeworld 2 and Freelancer as well as this guy, those Covenant aren't going away until we blast them into sub-atomic particles with some NOVA bombs or other, extremely powerful weapons like MAC guns. The whole NOVA idea is a lot cooler looking and less dangerous, at least to the only people who matter, humanity.)
