What if you add the ability for infantry to "assemble" into a catapult/siege weapon? (drew this idea from an old game called Nemesis of the Roman Empire)

Pretty nice. As a mapmaker, I really appreciate how you used the doodads and many of the vanilla models to create awesome terrain. From what I can tell, I only see 2 models that are possibly imported.
Can't wait to try it out! (even if only for the terrain)
From the looks of the loading screen, it just looks like you spammed a bunch of gold mines, and added 4 more player slots, on a 2 play map. Crowded much?
@Anubis_The_Dark, dont be such an ***, you gotta nuture new modders if you want them to improve, rather than shout ********, try giving them constructive criticism.
FYI, not all adolescents are crap modders. I'm only 15, and i already create my own raw models, texture completely from scratch, and work with game engines. I'm even working on a Indie game based off the Source engine at the moment.
This seems interesting, but word of advice; Please expand on what this "visual mod" is. Just what do you mean by "visual conversion"? Are planning on merely editing the original model's textures/models to something better? Or are you changing the skin of the menus? Please expand on what this mod is. If people don't know what this mod is about, they will feel it is unfinished or unprofessional, and should not be downloaded.
I have a question, will the melee maps have creeps like in the original Warcraft 3?
Also, will there be Level-able heroes with skills like in Warcraft 3?(if yes, will you have new heroes, or the original ones?)
Other than that, i am really looking forward to this mod.
Oh yea, your website is down, i take it that your new website is being put in its place?
IT may not, but it sure as hell makes it MUCH more appealing to the eye, and more likely to be played
awesome, im rooting for you!
i never played starcraft or it's sequels, since the first i felt it's graphics are too lame and the second cant be torrented, but now that you bringing the art of the second to wc, thats awesome!
Oh, and the "Baking" technique you use is truly nice, idk about some people saying that that technique is basically ripping off blizzard skins, but who cares? i mean as long as it looks good, what does it matter?
Fun, but you really need better terrain, and give the city a more "City" feeling. You can also download better tilesets from the hiveworkshop to improve the look. You should also make the buildings life-sized, since cartoony buildings make your map look amateur.
Also, you can download better models, your Headquarters look too Warcraftish, you need something that screams "Command Central"
You should also add more game modes, like "Survival" where you see how long you can fight till you die, and add "Rescue" where one play is stuck in a bunker that is heavily armed, but will fall eventually and the other players must exit the city to rescue him since he cannot do it alone.
For the "Rescue" mode, you could make 4 bunkers at each edge of the map, make the "Stranded" player not display on the minimap, and he is only in one of the bunkers, plus cannt leave unless the other players get to him first.
When in normal mode, those bunkers could contain shops, or items.
im guessing the second spawning pool took longer to create?
although the second one does look better, mabey you do like a high-grapics version and low-graphics version for people who's computers arnt as advanced
awesome map, cant wait for the mod now that i seen the models in actual gameplay!
Since ur afraid of finishing the camapign on time, why not finish the race first, release that as a demo, then release the campaign later?
The demo would satisfy our thirsts long enough for a demo
