Sorry I haven't messaged or replied to anyone's requests recently. I've finally been able to sit down and go back here.
As everyone knows, the mod is dead, and I've gotten a lot of requests to re-upload the files. I had to deny everyone's request because as so happens, after I uploaded the original files, I deleted MoW AS altogether along with the mod files.
Please use plyuto518's re-upload and enjoy whatever the hell I put in that mod haha :P
However, I am developing a stand-alone game in whatever free time I have, keep a look out for it as Im sure if you liked the mod, you'll like this game too!

I actually had no idea that the Alpha would be coming out today and I really wanted a challenge so I just thought I'd share what changes I've made.
In terms of AI programming I've only just scratched the surface.
I decided I wanted a bit more of challenge against the AI, here is a quick mini-mod I made for qbot. It reduced a lot of the lag in my games against the AI and made the battles a lot bigger and more intense.
All instructions and previews of the mod are available in the file. Please follow the instructions carefully when installing as you might break your game!
Does anyone know how much longer SWGB heaven will be done for?
The game is pretty damn awesome, brings back a lot of childhood memories. Although after some 60-100 units on the map the lag makes the game unplayable. Hopefully this will be fixed though.

The tanks and other vehicles were never made realistic to the degree they should have been because we were more focused on getting content into the game. Simply editing the gun files of the tank should fix whatever issues you may have however.
As the mod is dead and I have moved on to bigger projects I can only offer minor assitance.
Here is a mod I made for Men of War Assault Squad. I did all the development, coding/modeling, etc. Let me know what you think of the models if you need help.

The uploading is going very slow, Im on part 3 of 5.
I'd have the whole model rigged and set up. All you'd need to do is click export. Assuming you have 3ds Max 2007, 2008, or 2009.
As some of you may have already known, I am working on a game of my own coded in C++ and Direct3d(Direct X).
Its been in development since about December and although I have a very long way to go, I am directly competing with DMS and Instinct and their game Call to Arms.
I plan on changing the time scale to a more futuristic point in time.
The game will support fully dynamic and destructable enviorments, direct control mode (highly improved upon compared to GEM's direct control, large and small scale battles on a realistic strategic and tactical scale, air and naval support.
The game will work very similar to Civilization, SimCity, Men of War, and World in Conflict.
Im planning to make this game better than Men of War and much more complex and realistic for a hopefully intriguing game that will not only leave you playing for hours a day, but will make you think and analyze your moves much like a fast/slow paced chess game.
