Great mod, as expected. As for the copied parts, it's up to the modders to find a solution. Maybe convince them to use their files, although that might be a bit late now. Or much better, just replace those textures with something else, since it annoys the original creators. Anyway, all of this is up to the mod teams of those projects and doesn't make what people play less awesome.
I saw a few errors, for that v2 you are planning later.
1. If you look straight up, you see the end of the hand model.
2. Quite a few spelling mistakes on the message panels.
3. The vertex error Lunatrox mentioned, but i got it almost near the end.
4. "Warning: overflowed CClientRenderablesList group #", this message was appearing almost all the time, with the number 6 or 7 at the end.
Except the above issues, i loved it. Can't wait to see what else lies in Other Life for us. Keep it up.

Wow, just finished the singleplayer and i really loved it. I had no problem with the executables, all worked fine for me. That goes for the tracer and the virus too.
One thing that kinda annoyed me is that you can't go back in a filesystem using a console command. Tried commands like "cd\", "cd..", "back", pressing backspace, anything that i could think of. If there is actually a way to do it, except clicking with the mouse, i guess i was too dumb to find it.
Another thing that i would like to do is remove specific files without having to write down the whole thing. You know, like writing "rm Se*" and delete all the files that start with "Se".
Also, some emails were longer than the available part of the screen and they were messing with the hud. Some scroll feature for them would be nice.
A similar problem with the above exists when writing huge commands, like having to delete a file with a large name. You couldn't see what you were writing, so if there was doubt you had to delete the command and write it again. Having the console below so it covers the entire screen could solve this issue.
Anyway, i wrote too much. Fact is that i liked this way too much and i really hope that you will continue developing it into a full polished title with more features etc.

Just thought to try and login using the number keys above the letters and it worked. I have no idea why it doesn't work with the numpad. Yeah, numpad is on and shows that it's accepting my input. Anyway, the important part is i can login now. :)

Just made an account after playing a few games offline. Got the activation mail and activated my account, but i cannot log into the game, always getting the message 'login failed'. Is the game still an open alpha with free pass for the premium features?
Ah nevermind, i'm stupid. I had stuff running in the background and probably this was the reason the turning felt so wrong to me. Bad timing. Just played again and it was ten times better.
Just tried it, thanks to the top100 list. Always loved those games with tiny cars and top view. Even at this early state, feels great. The only thing that felt wrong to me was that the cars take too much time to turn, like they're in mud or something. Do you have plans to make the turning faster? I think it would make the game more fun, at least for me. :P
