These tanks (just like all the Main Battle Tanks in TAOW) will have the Commander's Machine Gun (mounted on top of the turret).

It wasn't prepared at the time so we didn't include it.

Definitely, these soldiers aren't carrying any weapon at the moment because the standard service rifle for the US forces to use in TAOW wasn't chosen yet, a poll is running on our forums in order to decide which weapon will be the chosen one:

Taow.simulationboard.com

The chosen weapon will be selected to fully equip these troops.

Yeah, the player will be able to switch the plane from "Jet Mode" (standard flight) to "Hover Mode".

While in Hover Mode, the plane will be capable of very accurate cannon fire (using it's integral cannon) or Vertical Take-Off and Landing.

Yeah, pilots and armor crewmen will be armed with personal defense weapons (submachine guns and pistols), which will be suitable for close range defensive roles.

On the contrary, the C-17 will complement the C-130 in the heavier transport duties (the C-130J will take care of the "lighter" duties such as light vehicle, supply or paratrooper transport while the C-17 will transport tanks and other heavy hardware which cannot be carried on the C-130 due to it's limitations).

As you can see on these images, the C-130J Super Hercules will appear as well ^^:

Though it's a 105mm cannon it's still a Big Gun, here are some images:

The basis of a tank destroyer (self-propelled anti-tank gun) is to basically mount a big cannon on top of an armored fighting vehicle (it's a suitable alternative to main battle tanks, specially on lower intensity conflicts).

Thanks :)

Indeed, some of the pics were taken from that site (at least my F2000 pics were).

World Guns is an excellent site, I'm a regular visitor (been watching it since it was established in the later 90's (1999).

Nice! There is a lot of things to unlock (like weapons or items), some of which can't still be unlocked with a password (so we have to do some additional tasks to obtain them).

There are some specific weapons which are hidden in game (such as the XM8, the main weapon that Meryl team uses in several versions), and that can't be bought in Drebins Shop. If you need to know where a particular weapon is hidden ingame just ask me.

About the XM8, here is an image of the weapon:
I26.photobucket.com

It's located in South America (the second scenario) on the Power Station area. After you meet up with Drebin, you can follow a small trail to the left and keep hugging the left wall until you find the weapon laying on the floor, here is a more specific map (note point 7):
