red dot sights can only be fixed to the weapon, not detachable.

Let me correct you. Have you ever tryed the Winter Of Death. Or another russian mod I can't remember. They had attachable and detachable 4x 3.4x. 1.5x scopes. Holo sights. Ext mags. And they didn't use a texture overlay. They just adjusted the zoom and what not without a overlay and boom. Realistic sights. I know it would take longer but personally idc aslong as I can play the game

Can't you make it a attachment? Also, can you make scopes that don't go fullscreen, if you get what I mean?

no I can't, that's not how the engine works. Attachment class uses texture overlays, not actual models.
Scopes that are not fullscreen textures wouldn't look good either, since magnification, detectors and nightvision upgrades cover the whole screen, not just the reticle.

Just a question. Im adding guns to my vanilla game and i want to be able to test them right at the beginning , inside my steam/gamedata/misc/trade folder. The "trade_zat_b30_stalker_trade" is owl , how do i change this coding to make him sell the weapons i put in?

it's much easier to just add them to your starting equipment by adding them to the actor in character_descr_general.xml
Personally I prefer using a spawn mod like GOTZ and adding the new items to the god_table.script though.
