If I had the time, I would love to port over an updated version of TS Retro to OpenRA.

The Open Source nature and additional features/functionality, would allow me to implement many things I would have liked for this version but was unable to achieve.

Let's see if EA release a Tiberian Sun Remastered as they have for C&C and RA1.

I personally think it requires more of a remake, it iron out the many issues that the original had and it would be great to seem them implement, many of the planned features for TS.
But not sure any of this will happen.

I don't get it when people get angry and abusive at mod makers for taking to long.

How about you send them some money. A decent amount. That may help speed things up.

Otherwise stfu. It's a passion project and they're doing it in their own time for free.

Please keep some retail stuff in the mod too.
Things like the retail APC, helicopter look great.

Have things like the retail combine dropship as a variant for instance.

This will add some variety the enemies in the game

(remove things like retail combine elite though, bad mash up of Assassin leftovers)

Just seen this mod, well done. Visually looks amazing!
The lighting is great especially on the Tiberium. Good effects and flora too amongst other things!

Two things to note:
1. Having lighting under player buildings, although it looks good, does not work well with stealth generator (assuming this is still in your mod). It will show the foundation of all the buildings!

2. From a gameplay perspective, I'm not sure exploding green Tiberium is a good choice. It's annoying enough as is with blue Tiberium.

It's amazing what you can achieve with the Reshade post rendering software !

That was a recycled animation taken from Tiberian Sun firestorm wall building. Someone just decided to randomly add it to one of the first restorations of this building.

It was never meant to be part of this buildings animations

2 Questions.

1. Will lost coast be implemented as part of the main story.
I know the coast replaced the wasteland, but it would be nice to see at least parts of coast in the game.

2. Will the concept Combine/Droid sniper be a thing in this mod

Thankyou very much for your answer. I've been following various beta storyline/remake mods for years and none of them made any real progress except this one. I really wish you this best of luck with this.

As far as the Episodic content, (I may be wrong) but isnt some of the stuff in them (like the antlion cave and mini striders) were meant to be in the release of hl2 anyway?
Will this be included?

Also will there be a cap on the amount of weapons the player can carry at once? Rather than carrying an entire armies worth of weapons?

One last question, will the combine sniper make it into the mod (seen in Raising the bar as concept art)?

Also will you amend and merge episodes 1 and 2 into the main story too. But change them to fit the original narrative?

Pretty sure this bug is reported with every new update.
I'm guessing you have an Intel HD gfx card?

Happens to me every time, have to navigate blind to enable hardware mouse each time.
Then its fine from then onwards
