It seems as if the fight with the scrin will never come to a halt, they are relentless. Even though we managed to destroy there towers - they just keep attacking with there current troops and production facilties, it seems as soon as we destroy an alien drone ship - a new one arises. Our platoon has been scouting the african redzone the past 2 weeks trying to find a scrin base, our satalites are down, and any planes we send get destroyed before they can report, so we have to do the scouting the old fashioned way. We have been dodging scrin patrols for the last few hours, just managed to get them off our tracks. We tried following a shock trooper squad back to the base to make life easier, but then they used the god-forbidden blink packs and were gone in an instant.
Our supplies are running low, same with our powerpacks on our jumpjets. We only have 2 days worth of food and water left, and the jumpjets can only take a few more hits. All batteries for these suits are capable of jumping 2 more times after the battery is depleted, but if we use that, it will trash the jets forever due to overusage.
At the current rate, I am not sure we will ever manage to find this scrin base. Well, if we don't make it home and someone finds this. Tell my family that I love them and that I died fighting for what I believe in. Sgt. Frederick Meyers 39th Zone Trooper Division
