This is my comment...
Also, unfortunately, Sins gets iffy when you add a lot of factions and units. Lavo from SOGE can tell you all about those problems. The number of factions you're talking about in your idea is so immense that Sins would probably **** itself just thinking about loding the mod :/
One of the downsides of modding a really old game engine...
Err, they didn't really give you that hard of a time... Unless there are posts missing or something.
Apologies if the community seems a little rough... we're not that bad ;). Usually. Just stay clear of the brownies. And those weird chicken nugger people.
Mixing universes is an idea I'm sure everyone's had (I know I have), and it sounds really cool, but in reality, it's a whole lot of work and there are a lot of obstacles (some of which would be insurmountable, namely the legal ones) and huge balancing issues.
Basically, it's a cool concept, but execution's just not feasible.
Microsoft help and support? There's nothing Microsoft about that install lol...
SQL server died, I fixed it.

I moved the apostrophe :)
Are you perhaps confusing us with CaW? They live here: Moddb.com
This mod is for Sins of a Solar Empire, not Empire At War...
This is all I have to say on the matter...

Just skip the Google login. Or shoot me a PM on moddb. I'll fix the account.
I assume you're not talking to me :)
No, but I can try. I see no reason it wouldn't work
I'm somewhat sure that's VD's balancing strategy too...

Read the OP, apply if you think you're up for it. You should be an active forum member too...
No need to downvote this guy into the ground guys, he didn't do anything really bad...
It's not "not likely" to be made. It's never going to be added. Ever.
Do you really think we can't balance Infinity? Discussions have been done in length about it, and throwing in a bigger ship to "balance" things is almost certainly not the solution. Sorry, but your post is just plain wrong.
Hmm, yeah, that should be able to handle it fine. Until you start getting huge end-game stuff, but there's not really anything you can do about that (and it happens in vanilla Sins too)
Also - beefy doesn't matter, all that matters is your processor's single core performance and (to a certain extent) graphics, although most modern graphics cards are fine.
That's fine.
But if you ask, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks, and the next guy asks...
We don't give release dates. We don't respond when people ask for ETAs. That's the policy, we're not gonna change it. Sorry if this sounds like we're being rude, but, hey, maybe people might actually listen when we say we won't give out dates.
Sorry, no ETAs. We will have it as soon as we can though!
Thanks! We're happy to bring it to you!
lol.
You apparently haven't looked far enough. We've explained why plenty of times, no need to do it again.
Have you actually looked at how much damage they do?
Yes, we'll be adding Stridents, no we won't have them be spawned from Infinity.
That's related to your particle limit - once you hit a certain limit of particles game-wide things disappear. You can increase it, but that takes a bit of work
