I'm 16, about 6 feet tall, 150-ish pounds and have brown hair and eyes. I like video-games (duh), started gaming with Quake 2 and have been an avid Quake fan since. Quake 4 is the perfect game for me, modding wise, and is a fun play modded or not. I also really enjoy biking, reading, hanging with friends and of course modding. I started modding when my Quake 4 stopped working after I tried tinkering with the graphics (back when I only had my crappy Linux computer). So to try and get it working again, I tried going into the q4base files and searching for the problem. I soon discovered the weapon .def files and the rest is history. I was, until a few days ago, hanging out on Quake 4 Files, but since FileFront is shutting down, I needed a place to go, post my mods and generally spend time surfing when I had work to avoid - er - I mean... One day I hope to get into game design, especially gameplay development, but I fear I'm not nerdy enough to learn coding. But, I can dream, right?

The Life of a Modder, Entry 2, July 21, 2009

Well, it's been a while since my last post, so I decided to add some more to this 'blog". Also I'm waiting for my Fallout 3 Reborn V6 footage to upload. Today I've made some big leaps with Fallout 3 Reborn. New levels, weapon models (not mine, but a fellow modder is allowing the use of them), sounds, gameplay, you know the drill. So I decided to post a video.

Life outside of video-games has been pretty hectic although not exactly terrible. I was asked out by someone I only considered a friend and that was a bit awkward. On the plus side I've just returned from a 3-day camping trip, which was very fun. Once a year I like to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I spend every hour of my day either with friends or modding, so my summer has been extremely busy.

Modding-wise, I've grown tired of the imamturity displayed by several "fallout fanboys" who treat Fallout 3 like a god which must not be defaced by modders. I'm thinking of dropping Fallout 3 Reborn after Version 6 because I'm tired of the shit those jerks say. Perhaps I'll continue modding, we'll see what happens.

If any of you're reading this in hopes of news on Fallout 3 Reborn Version 6, here's the latest:

- I have a new forum up on the mod page, go check it out!

- A new video with some in-game footage is on the way

- I need 10 beta-testers for version 6. I only have 2 so far.

- ETA on the mods release is about 2 months.

Anyhow, thats enough ranting for now, the video upload is only at 51% and I'm tired, so goodnight and take care,
