to add to what lockerd said, I'm starting to work back on the reapers again after a few months. They have the most to do since we have to create each design. Modeling wise only a handful are done along with collector ships.
Yes we are capping every models poly count and texture size to try and meet a decent overall size and load on the engine
Help wanted is still open, anyone who can help with anything can be of use
We will be back soon, me and set are talking about it now. I moved twice started a new job and set had a ton of things as well. We have some more crew members and and searching for more help. Production will start back soon.
Mods go up and down as we do this in our freetime, we dont have a massive team and we have a ton of things to do as everything is from scratch
technically, armada 3 project could be served with a c&d since they used copy righted material
i just do the modeling nothing in game myself. I dont even play sins that much anymore. Set imports everything, i think he uses the max script which after much research and talking doesn't import normal tangents, so that would explain it
Oh I know what you mean I'm just trying to find a solution I think it's the way it's exported doesn't take tangent with it, can someone link me to how. I'm. New to sins but know max very well
something is definitly wrong, but its not smoothing groups cause i assigned them right in max. I do not know whats wrong, set imported it and im not too sure how sins reads everything
Does everyone think there is not enough detail ?
set brought this up and its a good idea, i think im going to add window lights along the sides to give it a sense of scale and occupancy
yea logo are team colors, maybe i should add more team color areas ?
im not too sure id have to pull the model up and check, most of the detail is normal map projected so its not too much under 1000 i think

The mod is not dead, i had alot of stuff happen this summer, lost my job 2 grandparents died moved twice so im just trying to get into a swing of things before i come back
maybe it will depend, it will take alot more time if we do.

What Council structure would you guys like to see me model next ?
There are only 2 of us modeling and a ton of assets to go through. Life takes it's toll we both have bills to pay and cannot spend a huge amount of time on the mod.
Cerberus Structures are done, a few ships left. Then Council still have a good amount to do. The original date was for a beta only which was never intended to be "finished"

Color is going to be applied via team color, thats why I avoided any color scheme's cause if a player chooses lets say blue yet the turret has alot of yellow black and orange in it, would not match right
