Good looking ship
Looks great, i wanted to offer a very small critique. The overall model and texture is great but the area by the cockpit there is a random plate edge that is floating and does not connect to anything.
Great work probably just overlooked i do it all the time :-)
We actually help each other out
Are you activating the mod in game ? or setting the .txt file to launch the mod auto ?
Everyone have fun, cant wait to read some of the recomendations. Remember all still very much a WIP but gives you a taste of what is to come
We are excited as well to hear what everyone has to say, any feedback can only make the mod better. You guys are going to help us develop it
Communication received - clearing it up
This is the end .. isn't it ?
they said it would be ok in this post , in fact he said to get in contact with you Smg-modding.com
A little rough around the edges some errors here and there but all the main pieces are in place, keep working at it should turn out great
I model in 3dsmax, depending on each game engine will depend how an asset needs to be exported . Sins stuff can be modeled in max but needs to be exports from XSI in order to get tangents and normal's correct
Feel free to pay us :-)
Its possible, the issue now is we have to go back and redo the tangent maps for everything, so in current nothing is really ready
Thanks all, were trying to get somewhere so we can release something in the future
Couldnt agree more, as a modder on DOTR ( Dawn of The Reapers ) I couldnt imagine my co-lead running off like that
Congrats on next release from us over at Dawn of the Reapers !
ill talk to set about it
to add to what lockerd said, I'm starting to work back on the reapers again after a few months. They have the most to do since we have to create each design. Modeling wise only a handful are done along with collector ships.
Yes we are capping every models poly count and texture size to try and meet a decent overall size and load on the engine
Help wanted is still open, anyone who can help with anything can be of use
We will be back soon, me and set are talking about it now. I moved twice started a new job and set had a ton of things as well. We have some more crew members and and searching for more help. Production will start back soon.
Mods go up and down as we do this in our freetime, we dont have a massive team and we have a ton of things to do as everything is from scratch
technically, armada 3 project could be served with a c&d since they used copy righted material
i just do the modeling nothing in game myself. I dont even play sins that much anymore. Set imports everything, i think he uses the max script which after much research and talking doesn't import normal tangents, so that would explain it
Oh I know what you mean I'm just trying to find a solution I think it's the way it's exported doesn't take tangent with it, can someone link me to how. I'm. New to sins but know max very well
something is definitly wrong, but its not smoothing groups cause i assigned them right in max. I do not know whats wrong, set imported it and im not too sure how sins reads everything
Does everyone think there is not enough detail ?
set brought this up and its a good idea, i think im going to add window lights along the sides to give it a sense of scale and occupancy
yea logo are team colors, maybe i should add more team color areas ?
its actually in mass effect
It's in the images a few back
we thank you for such words
yea i just recently started using it since i heard about it on polycount. They gave us a 45 day trail ill probably end up buying it, really awesome program and speeds up workflow so much. Also forgot i used zbrush for the asteroids
3dsmax 2012 to model, maramoset to render, photoshop/DDO to texture
It's an ongoing joke we will release it when it's done where not going toehold onto it a week longer cause someone asked
we set a release date on this year, cerberus is almost done reapers alot of work left
our goal is to have a completed and balanced mod
yea i just followed the reference
so cool :-)
